Make sure to buy every t1 unit even if you don't need them, because it's a global pool. That means that the more units you buy, the less there is to roll, so the higher chance you get what you want.
my first game must've been just some insane luck because I haven't been able to get it to work properly. it could also be that others are doing the same strategy in the matches I've played afterwards so it's obviously not going to work lol
This game is far less rng than HS in most situations unless you lock in a strat at the start and don't adapt... then you will rarely get what you want.
See THIS is proper knowledge of game mechanics and statistics. I've seen so many people NOT fill their board when hyper rolling and wondering how they didn't get t3 on anything.
The game mode has been out live for around a week, so things like champions being in a global pool that everyone pulls out of, or there being a limited total unit number of each champion probably took a backseat in favor of discovering the more immediate aspects of the game.

@@SangerZonvolt oh I love seeing them try new things. But they should do so efficiently. You don't ALWAYS buy meta champs because you intend to play them.... you buy them specifically so your opponents cannot. If you're running a comp that only gets throttled by magic damage, you buy every damn A.Sol you see (that your econ supports) so that it's that much more difficult to counter you. Thats the kinda stuff I'm talking about.
Tried this strat and got 1st. Ended up with: T3 Darius, T3 Kassadin, T3 Kha'zix, T2 Akali, T2 Draven, T2 Kindred, T1 Draven (random). You still have to think for yourself and quickly decide what to sell, take out, what you want for your comp and items you want to make, etc. I've gone through various champs to get to where I got at the end. Positioning is always important too, don't forget that. Thanks again for the helpful tips!
PRO TIP: Early game you should generally buy every unit if u can’t get interest yet because it decreases ur opponents probability of getting that unit and increases your chance of getting the units you want because it decreases the chance of getting the units you don’t want This works better if you are the only one going for certain champs
Well, hyper-rolling can be used to beat the RNG. I use it all the time and the outcome is 70% rank 1-2 and 30% rank 8 at the end. The thing is that you have to focus 1 or 2 units and use ALL your golds. In my case, I go on Vayne and Morde (I take Ashe and varus too, but I don't focus them). Then for the items, I'm going full lose the whole early (until the second rotation). Like this I can take the items that I want (a giant belt and Spatula in my case). And gg, you got at least a vayne rank 3, an ashe (so glacial), a morde and a voli or seju (frontline + phantom+glacial). And as soon as you can you go on kindred. So you get the comp that you want, you're low hp so you're always choosing first and you are high rank on your carries. On 70% of my games I'm winning every rounds after the hyper-rolling, but there's a weakness : if you're really unlucky (30% of the time) and you get nothing or someone is playing the one comp that counters yours like really hard, you lose for free (you're low hp, so you usually get the 8th rank...). It only works when you have carries rank 1-2 (Kha zix, shen, Vayne, Trist, Nidalee).
Looks like the barrel placement happens code wise before the animation and gnar ults it. I'm basing this theory off the fact brand ult will bounce off pirate chest so objects on the board are coded as units it seems.
What is the strategy leading up to the hyper-rolling stage? Obviously looking for synergies, but generally just leveling up what you get even if it doesn't fit?
what I do is try to get either wild (nidalee/warwick) or nobles (garen/vayne/fiora) and if I have a decent carry (T2 + some items and at least one or 2 t1 of the same champ so at the very least 4 t1 if I have good items) I go for that strat, else I keep up the lose streak and go for a more late game approach with greedy eco (basically hard limiting myself to 50g )
Have you tried the double Elise strategy? Get 2 two-star Elises on the board and when they are both transformed, they each spawn 3 spiderlings. The benefits are, they work as tanks because the spiderlings soak damage and they boost the damage you deal to the enemy if you win the round.
Do a double elise and double graves+swordbreaker for the most annoying team. The graves constantly disarm the whole enemy team with aoe aa and the elises just do elise stuff. Sadly requires alot of luck (getting 2 tier 2 Graves and Elises and getting 2 Swordbreakers)
Hi, just a question. Why do you check other people's champion if you've rolled a high tier champion? Like on 18:54 where he says "Anyone looking for akali"?
The thing about videos is that they often show this one out of 20 games that RNG was very lucky and then people start doing the same getting the results of the other 19 games when RNG wasnt lucky at all. Similar to montage.
Even though this seems like a "risky" scenario, Hyper rolling is a smart play. This is becuase, like said, the units u have access to are only blue, greens and whites. This means it is MUCH cheaper to buy tier one 3 star units than later in the game and gives you a strong combat advantage. I almost always roll.

The tip about the monster camps was very interesting. Such lucky rolls! I have tried this tactic so many times and most times couldn't get a 2 star ww after -$30 gold even during that patch. Let alone having a hard time getting silver just by doing that. I would usually get 2 silvers if I spent $50 at once but they almost always don't match up in any aspect (for bonus'). Then I end up with no gold and quickly losing. So I went this strategy and got second place with garbage synergies, I ended up with 7 champions at rank 3 and 1 lvl 1 chogath 1 away from rank 2, I actually had not enough space on my bench at the beginning so I had to get rid of a potential rank 3 graves and vayne lmao. I lost against aurelion sol 3 item + lulu 3 item (I won once against him but he moved his champions from one side to the other every round in different setups so I couldn't do anything to get rid of his rank 3 lulu who was basically "healing" 3 champions on the board for over 1500 health and knocking EVERYONE up every 2 attacks.
I was here for learning how to hyper roll, but i stayed and watched the whole video. Does anyone know why at first champ pick it doesnt load for a lot of people that first round?
Thats fucking hilarious: I watched the vid, launched tft, got Nidelee 2*, got two recurve bows and just forced that strat, and actually won! Was vs full assassins, and lucked out to get two guardians and Kindred, which just countered last guy. Feels kinda cheap, sorta like Knights+Rangers, but damn, that felt kinda good.
Works wonders early-mid game, you need to change them in the late or pick a draven if you have darius, gnar if u have nid/ww, aurelion if you have kassadin and so on, dont rely on 3 star 1 costs late game or you lose.
This video explains exactly why 1 and 2 cost champions should require 4 instead of 3 of the same to level up.They should also make epics/legendaries easier to level up.
I have a friend who just puts all the units in a line in the back of the board and doesnt save money at all no matter how many times i try to teach him xD
That's just an indicator of how much interest you get after a round, there's one pot per 10 gold you have and that means you get +1 gold bonus per pot with +5 max.
no matter what strategy you use if your enemy has 3 more copleted items than you its gg, too much rng is involved in item drops and makes this game super annoying

I once did something similar and got a bunch of 3 stars early but lost late
Because this strat doesn't work with 5 stat lineup :) I had many enemies with this strat but my Noble phantom range max still wins everytime
Because this strat os garbage
Tier 1 chars 3* are almost all garbage and when you are vs a Real team you lose
i wonder what his new strats are for the new update
Thats fucking hilarious: I watched the vid, launched tft, got Nidelee 2*, got two recurve bows and just forced that strat, and actually won! Was vs full assassins, and lucked out to get two guardians and Kindred, which just countered last guy. Feels kinda cheap, sorta like Knights+Rangers, but damn, that felt kinda good.
What do you guys think are good hyperole characters?
I think any 3 star character is pretty strong. but I guess fiora and mordkaiser arent too great
Works wonders early-mid game, you need to change them in the late or pick a draven if you have darius, gnar if u have nid/ww, aurelion if you have kassadin and so on, dont rely on 3 star 1 costs late game or you lose.
vayne and nidalee are pretty strong.
@@Wojas101 vayne hypercarry with noble 6 is really strong even if she's still a 1 cost.
“Shavana“ ;)
Love the way you say that
Good Video!
does this still work with 9.14?
Great video Toast! :D but now please make a video where you teach us
*How to play League and win?*
th-cam.com/video/67fH8DZcuSk/w-d-xo.html
Watching this vid I learned more than with mobalytics XD
This video explains exactly why 1 and 2 cost champions should require 4 instead of 3 of the same to level up.They should also make epics/legendaries easier to level up.
No TF?! Do you realize how much stronger legendaries are. If you do that, there are no separate playstyles. This is so risky
Im glad youre not a game developer
TFT has made toast give up hearth stone ahahah
I Requi3m I tft is sort of like hearth stone in a way
@@kurohaneko8955 yeah but worse rng I would like to see how they are gonna make it competitive
Thank you!
Now that's a good guide
Wait your not supposed to refrsh all the time? Oops
I have a friend who just puts all the units in a line in the back of the board and doesnt save money at all no matter how many times i try to teach him xD

How does he buy both tristanas at the same time at 0:34 ? :o
When u dont have place for them on the board but u will lvl up if u get one the game automaticly give u the second one if u understood me 😀
Wats the quick key for refreshing and buy xp?
D to refresh
F for xp
What mode is this
How do you get daisy?
3 elementalists I believe
How do you get the pots apong the side?
That's just an indicator of how much interest you get after a round, there's one pot per 10 gold you have and that means you get +1 gold bonus per pot with +5 max.
@@rubenm2024 thanks my dude
After YEARS of watching your videos, I only now got the pun in your name
After years?
Cuando te das cuenta que la tostada juega TFT,sabes que esto se va a poner Zukulentoso 🐸
what is the score thingy at top right?
Places in TFT games
hiw did u kniw about who u would go against
how u pick automatically the items ?!
I keep forgetting that Toast is actually a smart guy when he plays Hearthstone. I just keep dismissing that fact when I see his rank in League.
Can someone tell me how trophies work??
Can I hyper roll 2 costs?
how to sell champs that fast? is there a shortcut?

@@Against.The.Odds123 thankyou! :0
no matter what strategy you use if your enemy has 3 more copleted items than you its gg, too much rng is involved in item drops and makes this game super annoying
is toast done with hearthstone?

Why do you say BT is good on Shyvana? As dragon, she's immune to magic as soon as you get ASol.
thats why. she takes less damage and therefore has more time to heal
@@iamkontraproduktive Well building anything that involves a negatron cloak on a champion that doesn't take magic damage seems like a bit of a waste. If it's just healing you want, put a hextech gunblade...
@@timothypearson9728 its not so much about the best possible choices in this game. you maybe want the large rod for guinsoos or something else,.i think his reasoning was, that he had the negatron cloak sitting there and even got a bf sword at one point, also bt heals 50% of attacks and not 25% of all damage, maybe thas a factor, dont know
@@iamkontraproduktive Guinsoos sucks, and instead of making suboptimal items while you're ahead you should save the items and make actually good items later. Use the BF sword for a spear of Shojin on the Asol, and the negatron for a dragon's claw on Gnar.
Toasty can you upload one or two games that you got placed 2nd or 3rd so we know what not to do? I know it's hard cause you are a TFT God, but it's educational too. Love you
Or just watch his stream

How does giving gnar sorcerer make him evolve to mega faster?
If you only have 3, the sorcerer buff only works on sorcerers. Ngoc explained the buff.
@@ShylKest it's not about the buff.
Sorcs and elementals have an implicit buff to the class. They gain twice the mana per attacks. it's not about the synergy buff.
@@Sith90lord it wasnt stated in the rules
Why is pyke so good right now?
“I wonder if I can pick up this small so they can’t “ does anyone know what he means when he said this? Is the shop shared?
There is a shared global pool of champions, so if you take one, that's one less anybody else has access to when rerolling. It's a strategy to look at other player's composition and short them a champion they'd need.
Ruben Nieves does this work the same when you sell champs?
@@SonicBlastGamingCSGOmore I believe so, so when you sell them, someone else can reroll and have a probability of getting the sold champs. I'm not to sure how the developers programmed it though, if it generates more copies of the champs in the pool as the rounds go on or if there's already a fixed amount when you create a match.
Ruben M I think you are right, according to the new puke video he wanted the akalis that some other guy had so he killed him and had a higher chance of rolling n alkali now
hey so i just blew a 96-1 lead because the dude's yordle comp countered my glacial comp and i had no rfc... just unlucky or should i change something?
it's pure rng.
If your opponents comp counters yours that hard, you gotta change up your comp. Sell some stuff, swap some people out, whatever gets you out of a hard counter
@@Melficzeero Of course, what would be a good comp to counter all yordles if i have no rfc?? I was thinking wilds because the attack speed means i would attack more....but i had literally no tier 2s or anything like that :/
@@Hoelywater why would you want more attackspeed if yordle counter attacks, you go for AE Dmg. Sorcerer/Elemental
@@tupacshakur5868 my thought was playing the rng harder, more attacks meaning in theory they could dodge less percentage of attacks....since this post i've won several games and had a lot of success running blademasters (heavy imperial focus) into them :)
so this is how that guy got three three star minions. BEFORE THE 3RD CAROUSEL I had three statics and still got destroyed:(
How r u refreshing shop for no gold? :/
u should try fire cannon, rage blade, i.e on nid and wild shape sorc and dragon team
its broken i got 100% win rate with it and its really easy to get
I didn't even know units went past tier 2 rofl. still won a couple games with only tier 2 units so all good
Tier 2 units are kind of the bread and butter of the game
The reroll strat was good, but when you have soooo many sick items it's tough to lose.
Finally Early! Keep up the good work Toast.
Show us a saving strategy pls
Pyke hate is going huge in this mode xD even the youtubers can´t holding back anymore and need to whisper the hate.
