When you screen record on MacBook using this method. Is there a way to not have external microphone on and to have the screen recording capture the audio internally like from an application on on the MacBook?
ahh found it! same keys but the first three options are for screenshots! you have to press the option where the laptop has a recording icon next to it (in the middle) then the button changes from 'capture' to 'record'!

This camera icon doesn't show up when I press command+shift+5. All the other option are there. It's only coming up an option to take screenshot, not video. Is that maybe because my Macbook doesn't allow me to screen record?

Hi, when I choose "Other Location" in Mac Screenshot Toolbar and set the location on external HDD I can't save it ;/ Any ideas why ? With locations on internal / system HDD is fine. With external HDD is error with saving there (exFAT - I can save files there on my Mac).
when i do this it doesn't record the audio from any apps that i am recording, i want it to record the audio from the apps and not from my microphone, any way to fix?
