*New Subscriber* Greetings from Prague. That was a great walkaround. Your gang brought a nice selection of cars ( that 7-series German Police Interceptor is fantastic ! ). Here in Czech Republic I went to a big American car gathering by a lake about 130km from Prague. I was surprised that young guys ( no older than 30 ) were really into 1970's 2-door land yachts from the malaise era. Like Chevy Caprice Classic convertibles etc. There were *loads* of them ! All in great condition. Getting parts from America must cost a fortune, so good luck to them ! All the best !
Hello! I’m glad you’ve found me! When I lived in Hungary I had a few American cars myself! I just been to Prague last year when I went to Chemitz for a classic car show. I think the place called Hartzmanndorf. I have a video of it if interested! I’ve seen lots of old cars in the Czech Republik! There was an old Setra bus near the camp I’ve staied outside of Prague. It was near a kayak race course… I just got a Babetta! So now I own something from your country😂👍🏻
@@budapestspeedshop Perfect ! I'll search out your Hartzmanndorf video. Next month I'll be going to another classic car get together by a lake 10km from Prague. Guaranteed to be some interesting cars there.
The Aro as a collectible brought me to a terrible idea: here in Portugal they licenced the Aro and built it as Portaro with Renault and Daihatsu engines. As an old Defender or the Spanish clone Santana are too expensive to tinker around it might work out.
That sounds like an excellent choice for a different diesel engine! You live in a beautiful place! I’ve only been to Spain but seen many travelling shows to Portugal.
I remember going to Hungary over 20 years ago and it was how I imagined Cuba although ive never been but so many cool and diferent classic cars that complimented the landscape. Now its full of the same boring cars that you get everywhere else in Europe and even America. :(

Spot on. Most of those cars you’ve seen 20 years ago became highly regarded collector items. The all melted away in the salty winter or got crushed…
