28:45 Personally I say FFVI OST is better because the quality of the OST is immense with the limitation they had to work with and it sticks with me better. Not to say FFVII OST is bad in fact it's still a great OST in its own right for the first FF on the platform where future games have better instruments for their soundtracks.
I understand you guys may have a biased when it comes to Street Fighter but ain't nothing Street Fighter does was better than what Dan Forden did . Like not even quotes like as far as actual musical compositions street fighter don't come close
I love Dan Forden's MK compositions probably as much as you and many others here, but Yoko Shimomura's & Isao Abe's CPS1 SFII compositions are arguably every bit as much GOAT'ed as Forden's. What they each/both created & accomplished with the technology they were working with was almost unparalleled.
17:05 she turned on the invincibility while running. proof the computer doesnt follow your rules lol
Playing Mortal Kombat Trilogy for your birthday sounds like a great time! Celebrating another year alive, 90s style 😎
I still remember the cheat code: Up C Right C Down C,A,B,B,A,A
"Steve you lost your f# mind" big lol
Oh Steve, I love when the doods argue with him. It's never not funny
It would be awesome if NetherRealm Studios did a modern console remake of MK Trilogy.
That would be a dream come true!
A MK9 remaster could also do something about the color saturation of that game
Nice. I love N64 MKT. It was a rather interesting port and it was fun to play growing up.
Happy birthday Kenny
What about finishing moves. MK Fatalities definitely were huge change
This is why Simmons is Donatello and Steve is Raphael lol.
Is it just me, or didn't the early MK games (MK, MKII) essentially kinda help push 'juggling' into the forefront of the VS fighting genre??
I recall the devs said they accidentally made juggling a thing in fighting games
@@jayjay-cl1eo yeah, playing the early MK games were the first times I’d ever seen juggling as a core mechanic in VS fighting games.
@RickyD3 good thing they did. If they didn't we would probably have the combos that sf2 had
Def jam fight for New York has the best fighting game soundtrack
Well 6 and 7 ost are great and it's same compositor kinda pointless to argue when both are great
@@JustinJTime lol
"MVC2 music is not good" yeah he's not cooking sht
This is a rare instance I agree with steeb. I still wish I could take the words "I wanna take you for a ride" out of my brain
I need this to come to Nintendo Switch Online!!!
WM17!

Agrees with Steeb theres need to be a remaster not remake of MK9 then says SF2 music isn't great. WTF?!!! You're drunk Steeb go home.
Classic MK music > Street Fighter.
