Love how accurate the Traje de mestizas are! It's so rare to see a historically appropriate ones these days, wow. The use of simple unembellished nipis fabric on the baro, the properly folded Panuelo, and the sobrefalda + saya combination screams CLASS. Like seriously, why can't they make them like these anymore? Those modern, over-the-top ones further perpetuates the misconception that the traditional baro't saya are "too hot" and only suitable for "pageants". That's why I LOVE what they did here btw
You can see the heavy European influence of waltz, string music and costuming but you can also see the Pre-contact Philippines and other pacific island dance style - the jumping, foot kicking, hand motions. ❤❤❤
@@selrahcf Absolutely! It's fascinating how dance forms can carry layers of cultural influence. The European elements like the waltz and strings are beautifully blended with pre-contact Filipino and Pacific island movements. The contrast between the graceful, flowing waltz style and the energetic footwork and hand gestures creates such a unique fusion that honors both influences. It really highlights the Philippines’ rich, diverse cultural heritage. 🫶❤️🤗

Sorry po, wala po eh. Gayahin nyo na lang po siguro yung mga steps dun sa video. Kayang kaya nyo po yan.😁👌🫰
What's the title of the music is it a 4/4 time signature?
Can I ask? May nagmimisa ba sa simbahan na 'yan? O converted na 'yan as a museum?
May regular mass pa din po dyan.
