It's gorgeous and love the unplanned placement of roses, I cheered you on when you mentioned silver leaf but I adore what you ended up using. Painting on top of wet clay, I'm no expert only dabble for me and family but as long as its water based paint you'll do well. Do you ever seal your Clay before painting? I found that painting my clay without it doesn't hold well and the least knock can remove it. Stunning work, love it.
Hi there I’ve never sealed my clay and fingers crossed never had a problem I have more mirrors so I will do another with the leaf when I get some Take care ☺️
Beautiful! I would like to give using the mounds a try. They have caught my eye and are on my list of creative projects to try. I think they would look great on fall decor. My Pinterest board is already full of inspiration.
Okay I watched part 2 OMG! I am so lucky to have seen this yesterday and get to watch part 2 OMG! How beautiful and I truly mean that I want to make that! I don't know how to get the wood or how to put together but I want to try some how. May I ask where did you end up putting that beautiful piece? If I make one like that I would love it in my dining room. Thank you thank you for showing and creating a vlog like this.
Thank you so much Joan I think it looked better second time around it’s in my entrance hallway with a little table and lamp. The wood was from a pallet I stripped down so was free and I got the mirror off of market place Let me know if you give it ago ☺️
I absolutely love your workspace! It is so bright and cheerful and it must be so inspiring to have a creative work space especially with the view of the garden. I would love a space like that where you can just go in and everything is right there. Unfortunately, being in apartment, I dont have enough room for one but yours is awesome.
New subscriber! Enjoying your videos…..especially the anthropology inspired. I’m working on my first piece now with the rap cherry blossom mold. Applying to a 4foot bench….rock on Eleanor!
Lovely mirror. Absolutely gorgeous 😍. Btw, the trick to painting on wet clay is to use a hair dryer or heat gun and force dry the clay just enough to where it forms a dry skin layer on top. I've been using this technique for 3 years now and it definitely helps to speed my art works along; Also there is an added benefit to doing this technique if your using acrylic paint because the plasticized binder in acrylic will help to keep the paper clay from cracking badly as it dries so long as the clay molding itself isn't too thick. Hope this helps and again the mirror is beautiful. Thanks for sharing and inspiring us with your amazing work. 😊💗👩🎨🎨🖌😍💕
Gorgeous!!! Do you often do other small projects? I'm putting molds on some plain wood corbels I thrifted. It's going to be my Frankinstein project. I have an old paned window that I will use looking glass spray paint on back of glass and age it with a sprinkle of water, add the corbels and a wood shelf, then paint. Lets see if what's in my head turns out!
You were the first person I watched doing mould decor, I've plucked up the courage to have a go myself, just awaiting the arrival of my moulds, I also have a question: Do you have to finish with a sealer/varnish when you apply the moulds to high use furniture? I have a full length Mirrored door on my wardrobe that I want to embellish around the edges. Thanks in advance for your response and keep up the great tutorials.
This is very pretty but I’m not comfortable with the places that have no moulds. It doesn’t match and to my eye, looks as if you forgot those parts. I say this because ( from my eye) most parts are filled with flowers. Boy, what a lot of work! Thank you for sharing. I’ve just bought some paper clay but still not bought any of the Prima or I.O.D. large moulds. They are quite expensive for a pensioner!
Hi I agree on the mirror and that is why I did a part 2 which you might want to check out. The molds are very expensive I have brought mine over 5 years and I still don’t have any where near enough Take care ☺️
The end result was absolutely gorgeous and I am a new subscriber. I’m going to try to make this duplicate from not clay or wax but from hot glue gun material! You used only roses, correct?
So beautiful!! I ordered the molds you suggested from Etsy...they just came in...im super excited to get started! I wish there was a way to show you picks of my work that you inspired me to do!!! Q: What kind of furniture paint do you use?
@@redesignwitheleanorfurnitu8576 I have used resin but I have yet to attach it to anything yet lol As far as cost...clay is 11.99...if you order resin through Wal-Mart it's only $15...the clay takes Soooo much time to where resin it's no more than 6 to 10 minutes...you might want to dabble in it for a personal piece...maybe do a post on it!!! 😀
Beautiful!
Loved this demostration. Thank YOU.
You are so welcome!
What a lovely piece! It looks like it should cost $3000. Lots of hard work, artistic ability and talent went into making it. Great job!
Thank you so much if I tried selling it I’d get about £60 ish
Oh my goodness...that is beautiful.

Hi thank you I’m glad I’ve given you the courage to do it yourself if you paint them when applied then no otherwise I’d seal them for easy cleaning ☺️
Redesign with Eleanor Furniture Makeovers Thank you for replying so quickly, my order should arrive any day now, I'm quite excited to get started.
Love! Thank you!
So glad!
Another masterpiece I think I saw the first part very nice 💐💐
Thank you so much ☺️
Wow! I so badly want this! 💕
Thank you ☺️
Beautiful ❤
Thank you! 😊
Amazing 🤩
Thank you ☺️
I love the look. Making one now using paper clay. What kind do you use and do you have problems with breakage on the clay?
Hi I use das air dry clay. You always get a little cracking if it bothers you then when dry I use white filler to smooth them out
Hope this helps
Love it
Thank you 😊

Ohh that sounds fantastic let me know how it went and yes I just used roses ☺️
Love your creations!!! How do I find a list of products used on tutorials?
Hi Kimberley I got all my moulds from Etsy the all redesign with prima and I used gorilla wood glue to attach them with anything else let me know ☺️💐
So you take them out once youve got them molded...you glue them on while their still wet...do they shrink or crack as they dry?
Hi no not al all
What kind of paint are you using and what kind/brand of sealer do you usually use, thank you
Hi I used dulux heratage in beachcomb grey with a silver rub over the top
So beautiful!! I ordered the molds you suggested from Etsy...they just came in...im super excited to get started! I wish there was a way to show you picks of my work that you inspired me to do!!! Q: What kind of furniture paint do you use?

@@redesignwitheleanorfurnitu8576 I have another question...can I use resin? Have you ever used resin? If so..how were the results?
Hi I’ve never used resin I would like to try it but it’s quite expensive and I use a lot so I don’t think it would be cost effective for me to sell
