@@deakonswatta297 no this was a pilot episode in the actual series he will have been on the island since the railway opened and was the red engine who tried to get henry out of the tunnel in the sad story of henry
I can tell why and could see why but in my head cannon for Afton he came to sodor in the late 1940s to help with the passenger trains and after his trials were done he is part of the railway and is still seen pulling coaches or trucks on the Norramby branch line with Arthur
this episode was basically just a see if i can do it kinda thing see if i can put an episode together for the first time so i do understand that hopefully a year from now it will be rather out dated and pretty bad sounding but hey we all improve
