As far as I am aware their original Roland keyboard packed in so they had to get a replacement ... this one has the full range of keys ... the keyboard itself can be split into two (and possibly more!) when programmed and that's why both Roy and RJ are playing different parts on the same instrument ... it's a powerhouse of a machine and speaking to Ray Fligel (a FBook fan club admin who has helped the lads no end and has seen. met and spent time with them on tour) RJ is meticulous when it comes to programming the Roland (members of the fan page joke that it is the 6th member of the band as it begins with an 'R' lol) and he spends hours upon end making sure the sounds etc are really authentic ... if you listen to previous songs that the brothers have done Mr Blue Sky for example RJ uses the built in vocoder to get the vocal effects half way through the song and the piccolo sound on Penny Lane is literally the same as the original track ... I don't know how he does it but he does ... anyway just a little info for you there ... anything else you may need to know just ask as I have been an avid follower of the boys for a good while now and there's not much I don't know about them! ... thanks for another great review your opinions on all their uploads are much apprecited ...
