I was so happy to search “meditation for pmdd” and actually see results!! This meditation was at the top of the list and I’m thankful I clicked on it, thankful you made it available, and thankful for every uterus-haver that deals with PMDD. We are all good enough, and worthy, even when our hormones distort our reality and tell us otherwise. Much love to all of you ❤️

I felt so low before listening to this and feel marginally better now. Yes it’s nice knowing I am not alone but it is debilitating and horrid for ourselves and the people around us! Does anyone know of any support groups for PMDD in London or online???x💕💕💕

No one will ever understand pmdd unless they experience and live with it, its absolutely Debilitating especially when it's not just a few days of feeling hormonal before a period or during cycle, pmdd is on another level and it feels like your brain has literally been stolen, add on endometriosis and other health issues it sadly becomes so very lonely, you feel so alone and isolate yourself when you know deep down it's the worst thing to hide away. I wouldn't wish it upon anyone but its so important to raise awareness and speak up about it so we can help each other and find comfort knowing we absolutely aren't alone in this..!!
Sending love to all pms and pmdd family out there ♡ being able to turn to this incredible meditation is a lifeline for many of us 🙏 thank you so much for creating a safe place for us to escape the feelings even if just for a little while xx

Reading the comments makes me feel less alone. I am trying to learn to accept my luteal phase instead of hate it. I know I don’t have to love it, I just have to accept it and roll with the natural waves of my hormones. Because in a week I will feel like myself again.

I am trying. I am a single mom of a 4 year old boy. I feel like I cannot be a good mother for 11 days out of the month

Thank you for posting this. Today was filled with dark thoughts. I sat with myself for hours before I mustered up the motivation to look up a meditation in attempts to make myself feel better, or at least something. Like others, I was surprised that there was a guided meditation specifically for PMDD. It made me feel seen and not alone. I’m so glad that I didn’t give up on myself today and that I found this, because it provided me with the relief I needed to go to sleep for the night and reminded me that everything’s going to be okay. Tomorrow’s a new day. ❤

I'm wondering if you, or any of your commenters, can give me tips on how to meditate without using visual techniques? I've tried meditating over the years and always struggled. Figured out this year that I have a blind mind's eye or aphantasia. I can dream but I don't see images when awake. I have internal monologue and can imagine things, just not images.

Hi Kada, I absolutely can make another non-visualization meditation as it has been very requested lately. I have a whole playlist of them I am adding to as well you can view here:

@@annierosenberg Oh Thank you so much! I have MS, PMDD and diabetes so stress relief is very important, especially on my high fatigue and/or anxiety days. Thank you, thank you, thank you!

I also have aphantasia and suspect I gave PMDD (they’re both common among the neurodivergent community) I’ve found that I can imagine concepts, so if I’m asked to visualise I conjure up the idea instead of an image if that makes sense? Sometimes in order to prepare myself for meditation I imagine the idea of placing my mind in a box or cupboard above my head. It’s there if I need it but I’m not bogged down by racing thoughts.
