I wish they wouldn't have had the Alan character talk like he was black, i know he's supposed to be bi- racial but he just didn't sound like he naturally talk that way in his character, sometimes he sounds like he even falls out of the character he's trying to speak.
What could have been a better storyline if it were discovered that Tom Willis adopted Alan when he was married to his First Wife but he loved Helen Willis very mutch. He did well as a Soap Actor. On Guiding Light he worked with alot of African American Actors like the late Vince Williams and Geoffrey Ewing.
