*****The Evidence of Scripture that Christ established the Catholic Church.*** ( Are You Sabbath keeper?? see *note #13* )
      1. Christ takes away the kingdom of God from the Jews (the Sabbath keepers) *for murdering their prophets, Christ and the Apostles* Mt. 21:33-43
      2. Christ gives the kingdom of God to the Apostles and the Church. Mt. 21:43
      3. Christ choses his own leaders apart from the Jewish Levites and High Priests Luke 6:12-16
      4. Christ sets "Cephas" (or Peter in the Greek) as "the Rock" His Visible Head of the Church. John 1:42 Cephas Means ROCK, NOT STONE
Christ did *NOT SAY "I AM ROCK"* concerning himself. Christ said to Simon Peter, *"YOU ARE ROCK"*
Christ didn't say, *your testimony is ROCK*,
Christ said TO SIMON PETER, *YOU ARE ROCK*
      5. Christ give them and the church *authority to bind and loosen* in Christs' visible absence (Mt. 18:18, and Mt. 16:16-18) That's contrary to all the SDA Teachings from Ellen G. White!
      6. Christ gives them power to *forgive sin* to the Church (John 20:23)
      7. Christ gives them power to *prevent sin from even being forgiven* from Christ! (John 20:23) That's contrary to all the SDA Teachings from Ellen G. White!
      8. Christ gives Peter and the Apostles to make binding doctrines in his visible absence (Mt. 16:16-18) A demonstration of that is Acts 15:5-16:4
      9. Christ commands the Apostles to make a Universal Church by *preaching the gospel* *in all nations* (Catholic) and making disciples! (Mt. 28:18-20)
      10. Christ promises he will not let the gates of hell prevail over the church where Peter is the visible head (Mt. 16:16-18)
      11. Christ promises he *WILL NEVER LEAVE or FORESAKE THAT CHURCH.* (Mt 28:20) That's contrary to all the SDA Teachings from Ellen G. White!
      12. The Apostles carry out that mission in Acts 2:36-42, Paul's epistle to the Church of Rome (Romans 1:1-10) Also, the entire book of Acts.
      13. *The Jewish Apostles held the first council of the Catholic Church* and issued a *doctrinal decree IN WRITING to all the Churches* and gave COMMMANDMENT that the Judaizers are to be condemned, TO leave the Gentiles alone and stop USING CHRIST TO PREACH MOSES BY trying to convert them to Judaism* (Acts 15-16:4) Col. 2:16 *FORBIDS* judging Christians in regards to the Jewish Sabbath to the Jewish holydays or in regards to what they eat and drink, or worshiping Christ as an angel, condemning the Adventists in 1 verse.
      14. The Apostle Paul repeats that no other Church is built upon the Apostles and the Prophets and Christ as "the Chief Cornerstone) Eph. 2:20
      15. The Apostle Paul sets the doctrine that there is ONLY ONE BODY (Eph.4:4)
      16. The Apostle Paul sets the doctrine that the *ONE BODY IS THE ONE CHURCH* (Col.1:24)
      17. The Apostle Paul sets the doctrine that there is ONLY ONE FAITH (Eph. 4:5)
      18. The Apostle Paul sets the doctrine that there is ONLY ONE SPIRIT (Eph.4:4)
      19. The Apostle Paul sets the doctrine there is ONLY ONE BAPTISM (NOT 2)
      20. The Apostle Paul sets the doctrine that "Christ loves his OWN BODY AND NOURISHES IT AND CHERISHES IT! (Eph. 5:29) That's contrary to all the SDA Teachings from Ellen G. White!
      21. Christ teaches that HIS BODY AND BLOOD ARE FOOD AND DRINK *"INDEED"* ! John 6:55.
      22. Christ knowing the deceitful hearts of those who claim to know and receive Christ and yet would reject Christ by rejecting those whom He sent openly manifests their hearts when Christ says in John 13:20 King James Version (KJV) 20 Verily, verily, I say unto you, *He that receiveth whomsoever I send receiveth me;* and he that receiveth me receiveth him that sent me. Thus it is written: 1John 4:6 (KJV) 6 *We are of God:* he that knoweth God *heareth US;* *he that is NOT OF GOD HEARETH NOT US.* *Hereby know we the spirit of truth, and the spirit of error.* THAT'S HOW YOU KNOW PEOPLE ARE A HERETIC, IF THEY REFUSE TO HEAR THE CHURCH.
      23. The Sabbath keepers hate us and speak all manner of evil against us because we obey scriptures explicitly commanding the church *members to obey the RULERS of the church. Heb. 13 vs 17 *Obey them that have the RULE OVER YOU, and SUBMIT yourselves*

WHAT MORE PROOF DO YOU NEED?!!

Christ's original church was pure but was tarnished by paganism and false doctrines such as idol worship etc. Christ and Jehovah God should worshipped NOT a statue Not Mary nor anyone. Ones faith should be bible based and not based on mans philosophies. As for forgiveness of sins only God can forgive sins Not a priest nor anyone as all are sinners.John 1:9 (KJV) " If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness."
I would go straight to God in prayer and ask Him yo lead me to His truth as there are so many false doctrines deceiving the world today. If you are searching for the truth go strato God in prayer. HE THROUGH HIS HOLY SPIRIT WILL GUIDE YOU. DO NOT GO TO A PRIEST. HE IS NOT GOD. MANY PRIESTS ARE USED BY THE DEVIL HIMSELF. WE. ARE LIVING IN THE END TIMES(Mathew 24). So it is critical to develop a close relationship with Jesus. This can only happens through prayers and studying Gods word. Jesus said " Seek and you will find". ❤

@@RaselaDolgoy Acts 20:1&2 doesn't say anything about confession of sin at all. John 1:9 does not say to only confess sin exclusively to a God. You all RARELY confess your sins at all! BE HONEST. Both the Old and the New Testament show that the confession of sin was not only to God but to a priest of God. What people don't realize is that when King David sinned, he too confess his sin both to God and to man. In the Old Testament the sinner was to do penance by offering up the appropriate sacrifice by the Priest, as commanded by the Law of Moses. We see this from Genesis until Jesus' time. Even at the John the Baptist's own time, they came *"confessing their sins" to John the Baptist,* before they would receive the baptism of forgiveness of sin. The Lord made it so, that we should not wonder if we are forgiven of sin. He gave the church the power to forgive sin, so that you might hear it from another human in authority to speak for God on Christ's behalf. And, then, to truly hear with your own ears, *your sins are forgiven you* .
Christ intended that he have ambassadors to be his spokesman, and with authority . And this is so, because God understands the weaknesses of man. And, therefore he knows, that without confessing to another of like flesh that their sins are forgiven, they are left with a haunting and tormenting conscience. John 20:21 Jesus say so the Apostles, Then said Jesus to them again, Peace be unto you: *AS my Father hath sent me, EVEN SO, send I you.*
22 And when he had said this, he breathed on them, and saith unto them, Receive ye the Holy Ghost:
John 20:23 (KJV) 23 Whose soever sins ye remit, they are remitted unto them; and whose soever sins ye retain, they are retained. Just as Christ forgives all sins, he still uses men as his messengers and ambassadors. Otherwise, who would baptize, if not another? Who would join two in marriage, if not another. Why would God ordained priests, if there was no need for intercession? Why should we become Christ to the world, if it were not that Christ ordained us to be his example to the world? How should men hear the gospel, if they were not sent from God? So, it is, that Christ has used ordained men throughout history, that men may know their sins are forgiven, not by their imagination but by the hearing of the word from Christ's own representatives. Oh the manifold wisdom of God.
Matthew 9:8 (KJV) 8 But when the multitudes saw it, (THAT CHRIST AS A MAN FORGAVE SINS) they marvelled, and GLORIFIED GOD which had given *such POWER UNTO MEN* John 20:23 (KJV) 23 Whose soever sins ye remit, they are remitted unto them; and whose soever sins *ye retain, they ARE retained* .
Adventists and Protestants can plead the blood of Christ all they want, if the priests *retains* the sins, they are *NOT FORGIVEN.* And, in like manner those sins a priests forgives, THEY ARE FORGIVEN!* LIKE IT OR NOT! Adventists, Protestants and their like despise authority, they can *"PROTEST"* , all they want, they can't change the words of Christ!
In Matthew we see Christ as a "man" standing before them forgiving sins with the inspired teaching that "such power would be given unto *men* (plural) . Matthew 9:8 (KJV) 8 But when the multitudes saw it, ( *THAT CHRIST AS A MAN FORGAVE SINS* ) they marvelled, and GLORIFIED GOD which had given *such POWER UNTO MEN*
*On that Sunday* in (John 20:19) Christ meeting with his disciples said the following: John 20:23 (KJV) 23 Whose soever sins YOU remit, THEY are remitted unto them; and whosoever sins sins YOU forgive, THEY ARE FORGIVEN*
John 20:21 - before He grants them the authority to forgive sins, Jesus says to the apostles, "as the Father sent me, so I send you." *As Christ was sent by the Father to forgive sins, so Christ sends the apostles and their successors forgive sins.* There's much more but most of these people will rebel to the truth taught in scripture.
Mt. 16:18. And I say also unto thee, That thou art *Peter, and upon this rock I will build my church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it*
.19. *And I will give unto thee the keys of the kingdom of heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt bind on earth shall be bound in heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven*
It's too bad the Adventist's don't know the scriptures regarding confession. It is written in the law: Lev 5 And if a soul sin, and hear the voice of swearing, and is a witness, whether he hath seen or known of it; if he do not utter it, then he shall bear his iniquity.
2 Or if a soul touch any unclean thing, whether it be a carcase of an unclean beast, or a carcase of unclean cattle, or the carcase of unclean creeping things, and if it be hidden from him; he also shall be unclean, and guilty.
3 Or if he touch the uncleanness of man, whatsoever uncleanness it be that a man shall be defiled withal, and it be hid from him; when he knoweth of it, then he shall be guilty.
4 Or if a soul swear, pronouncing with his lips to do evil, or to do good, whatsoever it be that a man shall pronounce with an oath, and it be hid from him; when he knoweth of it, then he shall be guilty in one of these.
5 *And it shall be, when he shall be guilty in ONE of these things, that he shall confess that he hath sinned in that thing:*
*Read Lev 5 the entire chapter!! It is only when the SIN IS CONFESSED to the Priest and the offering is made that the SIN IS FORGIVEN*
In the Old Testament the forgiveness of sins was associated with the intercession of the priest: “A man . . . shall confess the sin he has committed, and he shall bring his guilt offering to the Lord for the sin which he has committed . . . and the priest shall make atonement for him for his sin” (Lev. 5:5-6).
Numbers 15:27-28 serves as another example: “If one person sins unwittingly, he shall offer a female goat a year old for a sin offering. And the priest shall make atonement before the Lord for the person who commits an error, when he sins unwittingly, to make atonement for him; and he shall be forgiven.”
In every case where an offering was made for sin, the person who sinned had to confess his sin to the Priest so the appropriate offering could be made and the Priest offered it on behalf of the sinner to God.
The priests of the Church share in Christ's priesthood to offer prayers and offerings for the people, just as they share in Christ's authority to forgive sins. That is the truth of the matter.
The unfortunate truth is, that Protestants don't confess their sins even to God, much less those to whom God commanded them to confess. They refuse to examine their conscience on daily basis and use their hatred of Catholicism to hide confessing sins at all.

*What profit is it to confess sins to God and ignore HIS commandments to confess to his Priests??*
II. The Necessity and Practice of Orally Confessing Sins

James 5:16 - James clearly teaches us that we must confess our sins to one another (to our confessors), not just privately to God.

Acts 19:18 - many came to orally confess sins and divulge their sinful practices. Oral confession was the practice of the early Church just as it is today.

Matt. 3:6; Mark 1:5 - again, this shows *people confessing their sins before others as an historical practice* (here to John the Baptist).

1 Tim. 6:12 - *this verse also refers to the historical practice of confessing both faith and sins in the presence of many witnesses* .

1 John 1:9 - if we confess are sins, God is faithful to us and forgives us and cleanse us. But we must confess our sins to one another.

Num. 5:7 - this shows the historical practice of publicly confessing sins, and making public restitution.

Neh. 9:2-3 - the Israelites stood before the assembly and confessed sins publicly and interceded for each other.

Sir. 4:26 - God tells us not to be ashamed to confess our sins, and not to try to stop the current of a river. Anyone who has experienced the sacrament of reconciliation understands the import of this verse.

Baruch 1:14 - again, this shows that the people made confession in the house of the Lord, before the assembly.
2 Sam. 12:14 - even though the sin is forgiven, there is punishment due for the forgiven sin. David is forgiven but his child was still taken (the consequence of his sin)

1 John 5:16-17; Luke 12:47-48 - there is a distinction between mortal and venial sins. This has been the teaching of the Catholic Church for over 2,000 years, but, today, most Protestants no longer agree that there is such a distinction. Mortal sins lead to death and must be absolved in the sacrament of reconciliation. Venial sins do not have to be confessed to a priest, but the pious Catholic practice is to do so in order to advance in our journey to holiness.

Matt. 5:19 - Jesus teaches that breaking the least of commandments is venial sin (the person is still saved but is least in the kingdom), versus mortal sin (the person is not saved).

Scriptures explicitly teach, however, that confession of sin and repentance for it are to be made directly to the throne of grace in heaven (see Acts 20:2 1 ; 1 John 1 :9), and that the release of the soul from sin comes only through the merits of Christ and His personal mediation (1 John 2:1). This prerogative God has never delegated to erring mortals, themselves so often in need of divine mercy and grace, even though they be the appointed leaders of the church. SDA Commentary.
