I have the MS60c and I gotta say, I love it. So much so that I purchased another one. Very affordable, very easy to use, and a lot of output in a small body. I’m pleased with my purchase and definitely recommend them!
@@Shalin.S.Shah. I’d say it’s pretty well built. It’s made with a more premium aluminum. Pretty compact and easy to carry around, especially since it comes with a carrying bag. I love that it has a bowen mount adapter so you can use other accessories with it.
I highly recommend these lights. I use them to film and for still photography and they’ve been my go to workhorse lights. I own 3 of the MS60C lights and even at 60W , they’re beyond my expectations. I’ve used every kind of strobe, video lights for in studio, on location and outdoor content creating and the MS60C handles it all. I honestly would sign off on these lights. At its price range, compactness, power, feature sets. It’s everything. I pair this with a 300w light and I have everything I need to shoot anything from moody to super bright content. Don’t look anymore and get a set of these lights with a couple soft boxes and perhaps a pendant soft box and you have a decent set up.
hsy.. I have a Godox ML60 bi and also this Neewer MS60bi...they are very similar-The Neewer is a little better built I think...I sometimes NEED to use them without AC and just Sony battery power and I noticed that the Godox is brighter when using batteries but the Neewer dims a bit...maybe not that much but I prefer the Godox . However, the Neewer is so much cheaper. A bargain. These COB lights are much better than the LED panels I had before. I still use the panels but for interviews etc ONLY the COB with softboxes will do. For the Godox I had to buy a bowen adapter to use bowen mount softboxes. I may buy a second Neewer so that I can control 2 lights using the app
I’m a photographer that’s converting to do more videography and cinematography. I have two LED panels that I use but I wanted a dedicated Key light. Would this be a great key light for doing interviews and projects such as ads and acting shorts? If so I’m thinking of getting one of these and a few led tube lights to complete my starter kit until I can afford Aperture lights. What’s your opinion on this thought process?
been using a pair for weddings. can even fill sun shadows from about 2-3 feet away with no diffusion. strong enough to overpower some dj lights. wireless is janky, several attempts to connect but indeed will. dont wait till last second to connect wirelessly.
Excellent description. Still, I have some doubts. Fan noise level. Can the effects be activated without the application? Does the app have to be ONLINE to work? And, if you had the spotlight located at a height with other lights and all connected to a power strip in the studio, when you disconnect the main power strip to turn everything off, and then connect it again, Is it necessary to press the light switch to turn it back on. ?
Hello, Thank you for your interest! 1.MS60B/C uses a silent cooling fan with ultra-low noise. The noise of the whole machine close to the air inlet tested is 50dB. 2. Effects can be controlled on the lamp panel. 3. In this case, turning on the light requires pressing the switch manually.
Great light. Can we get a much longer power connector wire for the Sony battery to the light? This so I can add this to a boom arm and have the batteries not add additional weight. This would make an awesome, affordable hair light with a snoot thanks to your Bowens mount. If the cable was 10 or 15 feet, I would have purchased the light on the spot.
I just got the MS60B because sometimes I MUST use Sony batteries in locations I don't get access to AC- but I want to make sure that the light will still provide the same ouput while using batteries as compared to AC (I know the batteries will run out in 30-45 min at near max power). I tested it the light and I'm pretty sure I noticed that the light dims a bit/much when I go from AC to battery power. Is this how the light was designed? to dim a bit when going from AC to battery? is this to protect the light? Do all COB lights (with battery option do the same?) Pls clarify if possible. Thanks

What is the total duration we gonna get on full power when paired with two npf 750s? My line of work is outside so if I purchase, it will be on battery 99% of time.
