Sanchita Pandey-Ji...in Hindi writings of Raag and its description, and likewise in many Indian languages similar to Hindi, Sudhdha Nishad is written with the first letter and Dirdhayi while komal (flat) Nishad gets the letter with Rasvayi. I am sorry, I can not write Hindi here for some reason, but you know how in our languages, any letter with 'i' pronunciation can get it via either Dirdhayi or Rasvayi. So, while studying several books, I have noticed this pattern and it makes sense to distinguishingly identify either Nishad by simply giving it Dirdhayi or Rasvayi. Good luck.
