the title says it all, I haven't wanted a character as badly as Yelan since.. well Mona? I underestimated how much I like hydro characters I guess :x
today we pull for- farm for- and build up Yelan! the same was as my Eula/Mona/Ayaka videos! a true rednasyo classic at this point
she's so fun to play, and I'm finally done running my DOOKIE friendship teams- it's a WORLD of difference and i'm loving it
I mention this during the video but I'd love to make a series on the new pokemon game, there's this pig pokemon called LECHONK and since on stream ( / rednasyo ) we have decided i am the BOARCHON - it feels fitting that I do a lechonk pokemon playthrough no?
also want to do another drawing progress video soon and the 200k special is coming up of course, i think i might move the "not as" interesting things to the 2nd channel so that I can try more variety on here, we'll see how it goes.

The 80k one happened because of her passive the character in the field will get dmg bonus when her dice in the field too
The passive says that it will start with 1% dmg bouns and every second will increase by 3.5% max bonus you can get is 50% her dice stay for 15 sec and you did the (E) at the last second i think so yeah that's it 😉
her bow also gives her a dmg bonus when you're near enemies too

I love love love Yelan's playstyle, she attacks so quick and I saw her ult can activate even during Xiao's ult plunge. I was tempted to pull for her (50/50 and wanting Itto) but tbh, her burst animation made me dizzy... Like I legit got a headache after doing her test run, and THEN the event domain where the whole place rotates. So I'll just stick with the Yelan that my co-op partner has💀

Her hold-E distorts the screen, she's unplayable for me but I didn't want her anyways. Just sucks because videos I want to watch like this one include, uh, her hold-E. Also the waviness of the lines from her ult infusion does it too, so it's a lose-lose all around.
rip. sorry the visual effect puts you off; i relate to finding certain things weirdly unbearable that literal no one else talks about (not yelan though, thankfully)

You had that 80k-85k by using your E because of yelan's talents: when you have the dice (from the burst), the character on the field gonna have a bonus 3,5% dmg per seconds, max 50% dmg.
Anybody who's that excited for Yanfei automatically has my respect. She's awesome.
Last time I enjoyed a new character this much was when I pulled for Kazuha back in the days :) His E left me absolutely delighted. And same thing happened with Yelan!
Originally, I wasn't planning in her, but the quest sold her to me. I ended up dudududu-speedrunning her in like 2 days from scratch, slapping whatever artifacts I had. Rn she can do 50k vaporise on her E, and her Q + Yoimiya's E annihilates everything. I love her LOTS.
I am so happy to see this video, I've been waiting!! I accidentally got Yelan on my quest for Yanfei, and she is unexpectedly great, so I've been even more stocked to see this!!
Got only one Yanfei sadly but after a year of her ghosting me that's already great haha
I broke my f2p-ness and bought a welkin for yelan, was originally pulling for xiao but yelan is literally so good and I love her, gonna watch this video as a semi guide bc I'm so excited lol
thank you for freeing us from our blindness, I can finally appreciate your yelan dmg numbers and bow lmaooo, but omg wasn't expecting you to go so deep into the weapon banner, happens to the best of us (congrats on the bow though! ). Also yelan's burst increases dmg of the active character (was probably how you hit 80k that time), try out your skill with her burst active hehe

Really good build! I ended up getting her as well and she’s really fun and just cool in general. Her story quest kinda reminded me of Ayato’s, but it was entertaining nonetheless. Can’t wait for kuki’s hangout event.
I got her pretty early on, so I'll give my luck to anyone who still needs her! Or I'll give you my patience if you're waiting for kazoo or itto :]

yelan is a character i pulled for with 0 expectations and she surprised me, her damage is incredible and her whole HP% mechanic makes her actually fun to build and invest on
Yelan is going to be the second ever character I use my crowns on (first and only one I've used my crowns on is my triple crowned Klee), and I've been playing since a month post release. I've never been so in awe of a character, and she's getting at least double crowned for sure. Haven't had this much fun with a character in forever!

At first, I wasn't a fan of yelan, then I tried her out and fell in love. My current genshin profile thing was displaying everyone i wanted to triple crown with one spot left for yoimiya, but now yelan took that spot (still gonna triple crown yoi whenever she returns). Glad you got her early and DIDN'T hit pity 3 times on weapon banner. I also really liked how you added the pulling session, it makes it fun to see how lucky you can be! Keep up the great work! Side note at 24:00 I now have to use LeChonk on my team and call him chonkers because of you

Every second that Yelan’s burst is up, her damage increases. So you probably hit 80k near the end of her burst, but later on, you were testing her E without her burst being active, so it was pure E damage without her burst buffing it that time.

congratulations on the yelan and bow! I also brute forced aqua home after getting the jade spear, but because I have decent weapon banner luck, I didn't get my fate points maxed. I've had her in my party since I got her and honestly she's so much fun, her dmg numbers are nice, i don't regret changing my mind and getting her after all :D

the new Pokemon named Lechonk was actually inspired from Philippines' Delicacy called Lechon (Roasted Pig) which is actually loanword from Spanish and only served in really special occasions, festivals, weddings, etc., one of the expensive food to serve. I'm not really 100% sure tho hehe.

Her burst gives dmg bonus to the current character so u hit 80k before crowing her (because u are in your burst mode) :D i think u can get about 50% dmg bonus near the end of yelan’s burst ^^

I've been waiting for this! The weapon banner scammed u so hard right there, over 100+ pull for the weapon ahhh the primosss. The weapon gives a lot of worth to Yelan so i still see this as a win. The build looks insane to me, if theres things to tweak its prob getting the crit rate higher to 60+ for more consistent crits, good feather might fix the job!

Someone has likely already said this, but it was because of the buff from her burst! It increases ALL damage your active character does, a bigger increase the longer her burst lasts.
