This is beautiful. The track hits emotions. Backed by awesome edit of one of the best films out there. The scene of Bubba and Forrest while the Hueys fly over overhead… brought tears to my eyes. Wonderful music BT-84

Regarding your question, confidence is something I usually struggle with and it affects the way I see what I do but I feel really fortunate every time someone tells me that they resonate with the music or that it helps them when going through depression, or even having suicidal thoughts. It's something that blows my mind, but it's like an anchor to me, that if just one person feels better because of it then it's worth sharing it.
I prefer Hanks in the 80s too, The Money Pit will always be my favorite and his laughter scene and the carpet one are some of the funniest ever! I love his work with Zemeckis though, including Cast Away

Ok, tell me I’m crazy, but listening to this track made me think of a track by a band from the 80’s called Propaganda, in particular a track of theirs, that I then realised was called ‘A Dream within a Dream’. Then I realised this can’t surely be coincidence given the title of this track!?!

You are not crazy! But it was a coincidence. I can see why it made you think of that track. I'm an 80's addict, I dig almost any genre during that period but I feel embarrassed to say I didn't know of Propaganda. Someone suggested "I Don't Care Anymore" by Phil Collins and he certainly is an influence for me. I've checked a few songs from Propaganda and P:Machinery is a synth heaven!

Thank you for your words :) I don't believe talent is needed. It makes things easier but you can compensate through practice. Do you enjoy what you create at times? Try to find specific things you like about your music and build around that. Try not to compare yourself with other artists, especially if you are starting.
