Thank you for sharing your videos with us. I just setup my Little Rebel with your help you made it much easier. Can you share what needle you used with your machine for quilting?
@@busybeescraftycorner6146 the needle I use is based mostly on the thread. The needle - thread pairing that I start with is in the Little Rebel manual, CHOOSING YOUR NEEDLE in the APPENDIX, and I adjust based on my experiences. If thread is shredding, I generally go up a needle size.
I try to film a lot of what I am working on. But to be honest I don't want to tire people out with useless content. If I can't create something useful from my video taping...I won't post it.
@@quiltingonathread thank you and I totally understand. I just picked my little rebel up on Friday. If I have any thing I think of I'll let you know. Thank you for your kindness
@@marveledwards4848 I'm using 40 wt thread and the size 16 MR needles that came with the Little Rebel. The machine comes with needle packs in 4 sizes (12, 14, 16, and 18). You should have needles in this assortment to work with whatever weight it tread you choose.
Could you please do a video where you show just how to hoop the quilt on the original Cutie frame to make sure the fabric comes in contact with the sensor on the Little Rebel? The manual says not to hoop the quilt too tight.
I'm so sorry for not seeing your question earlier... I normally try to respond within a day. I have a video already created that goes through proper hooping and this should be a good guide for either the Cutie or the Cutie Breeze. Proper hooping is neither too loose or too tight and works perfectly with my Little Rebel on the Cutie Breeze. Here is the link to the video I've mentioned th-cam.com/video/TK0uD9a2anA/w-d-xo.htmlsi=tHxxZQvzdb69Pldu
When adjusting the height of the hopping foot before starting to quilt, doesn't the piece of fabric add thickness under the hopping foot height tool, and does that throw things off? Thank you for showing how to do this set up. It's helpful.
From my measurements you can get 10" VQS. Needle drop to needle drop is 11", but you wouldn't want to count on every last thread of space being quiltable
Hi Bonnie, I love the name Scarlett for your machine. You have been a big help to me and I'm ready to name my machine. Can you tell me where you got your name sticker from?
Thanks for the tutorial! My frame is supposed to arrive on Monday and my Little Rebel arrives on Tuesday. I am so excited to get started!
I get so excited for everyone as they anticipate their new toys!!!
Very helpful, thank you!!! Just ordered both today, so excited!!
Another very helpful video! Thank you Bonnie! I only need to receive my machine now. :)
Thank you for the video; it was very informative.
Glad it was helpful!

@@quiltingonathread sorry to bother you but what size needle do you use in the Little Rebel while on the breeze frame?

How do you end and CUT your thread using the little rebel in quilt mode?
@@lizgarcia6203 you pull the thread to the top, tie off and bury the threads...
I'll put out a general video on this....

It has not been enough to cause a problem on my 3 long arms.

Would you mind telling me how much room to work you have with the rebel and breeze? Can you get an 11” square done or is it more like 9”?

Can you do a video on how to tread the little rebel???
When I'm back in my studio, I will do that....

I make the tatoos for all of my machines using my Scan-N-Cut.
