Mistakes keep us humble. None of us is walking on water and we've all screwed up. Jun, be gentle with yourself. I'm glad you continued to film and didn't delete this. You will grow as a person for this. It's not the end of the world. Hair grows back. Sending you love and compassion and lots of hugs. Thank you for being so vulnerable and sharing.
Oh man. I feel so bad for you. Hate days like that! Haven't watched it to the end yet, but I would take a quick breather myself. Good news is fur grows back! Jun, you are human and we all have those moments. Thank you for allowing this rookie to see that it happens and how to deal with it.
I remember the first time I #40 a dog where I shouldn't have! And I remember everyone saying "Oh it happens!!" You are human! And it grows back as you know! I am doing a Coton tomorrow and using you as a resource for homework this evening! Keep up the good work Jun
Watching this in March 2022, I have a Coton in tomorrow , haven't groomed one for about 15 years so your groom is my homework. And we have all had blade accidents, clients understand we are human
I rescued a dog I thought was a Maltese, but now I think he might be a Coton de Tulear. 😁 You are a great groomer! Look at the way the dog looks at you around minute 17. The owners can just throw a cute sweater on the dog. No worries.
I'm a newer groomer. Less than a year of actual haircuts. And in my first few months I made that mistake a couple of time. All we can do is blend the best we can. Explain to the pet parent and apologize and offer the groom for free.
Tell me a Groomer that does lots of dogs & hasn’t had that kind of accident - with me it was the comb coming off when it hit a tangle. If you’ve always done a good job dog on this beautifully behaved dog before , apologise & offer free groom. You’re freaking out seems out of proportion & TBH ( tho I know you’re a v dog friendly & good groomer) if this was my dog I’d be unhappy that all you’re focus is on you’re personal issues & you’re audience & not the dog in this instance.
Point taken. I’ve been getting much better. But I still need to work on keeping my focus on the dog and not myself. The streaming and talking to the people really was a distraction. I’m staying much more in tuned now, and if I do stream it’s only for the owners on a private link. That way I can’t just ignore the camera and just work and focus on the dog. Thank you for pointing this out as a reminder that I always need to get better. 🙏🏼

Jun, I’ve watched this video a few times over the last year because it’s so pure and good. I just love how you respond to the situation.
