It's incredible how Devil Jin *feels* like a totally different character from the voice performance, while still sounding like Jin. Stellar freaking work.

Devil Jin always was treated like a second person, whenever Jin transformed he was never in control of himself, combine that with the fact he can't seem to transform anymore and they may have decided to split the two characters in the story

Tekken 5, in an arcade whose name I forget, Devil Jin was my first Tekken character. I remember making black wings out of paper for a school project, and to this day, Devil Jin is the first character I play in any Tekken game I touch.

Guys, you exceeded all expectations with Tekken 8, it looks amazing. I can't wait to play Devil Jin.
I like that Devil Jin in this game both uses his Devil powers a lot more AND is more of an unhinged, violent, destructive psychopath rather than what was more like a restrained force of nature. He actually feels like a completely different character now instead of "Tekken 3 Jin with horns & wings".
That kind of defeats the point of him...he was literally supposed to be T3 Jin with horns and wings.
@@drdeesnutts48 um did you forget how insane he was in Tekken 5? he has an entirely different personality and is way more sadistic and wild in nature and that *is* the entire point when compared to normal Jin.
@@DemonSaine He was added because Tekken 4 completely changed Jin's moveset and there were a lot of players that liked how he played in T3/Tag so they added DJ so both can be catered to.
Unfortunately vanilla Jin barely even resembles T4 Jin these days.

So hyped about Tekken. I started playing Tekken 3 (Hwoarang main) loved it and then took a break until Tekken Revolution (Devil Jin main) and then took a break and now seems like a good time to get back into Tekken 8 again, tried the demo Nina has been my favorite to play so far. Good job for keeping Tekken alive it’s been a beautiful journey to see childhood games excel into greatness. Can’t wait to play the full game hope everyone else enjoys it just as much.
