Such as, that application could be done via using SEGW Odata & UI5 App from scratch but you showed us how to develop it via CDS&BOPF in a short amount of time. Or that any other applications could be developed either via CDS views or UI5 from scratch. I believe the only difference is not the development time. If possible can you please share your thoughts with us regarding when and where to prefer these development alternatives what are the differences or their strong/weak sides? Best, Merve

I have a question: we are implementing the incident management module in Fiori, there is already a cds view created (i didn't created it) with some custom fields. Now the requirement is to set a value (email) automatically when an asignee id is typed on the screen. I made the code in an enhancement of the method Execute (to use the same standard class), but i don't see the resutl on the screen. what could i be missing? where do i need to do the custom code? (on determination, on action)? Besides when i try to generate the object it is giviing me this error. "Interface could not be generated - Business objet - unkown". I don't know why is this error. Thank you. Br.
