I want to determine my annual growth rate calculating random deposits on random dates using my current balance.
I have a spreadsheet crudely solve this by me manually adjusting the rate until it calculates the sum of all deposit at this rate and the amount of time since the deposit was made equaling my current balance.
how would I solve for the annual rate using current balance?
