Depends on what you want, PPF offers durability against chips, scrapes.
Coating offers ease of cleaning, chemical resistance
If you're going big then go PPf and then coat on top
they aren't mutually exclusive, get PPF, and ceramic coating overtop

@@awaisakram8573 bro, a ceramic coating is only a few bills, and about $100 if you do it yourself. If you're getting the PPF, for just a fraction more you can coat it. Bugatti? SMH.
@@TheBreakfastLoverppf is not fraction more. Ppf for my Ioniq 5 costs 5500-7000 usd whereas ceramic costs 100 if I buy it online and apply it myself.

So I was thinking about a font end ppf and then was told about Ceramic graphene. Are you saying I could get the ppf then get the ceramic graphene over the entire car? Or just the places without the ppf

Do whole body ceramic and ppf only for front bumper and bonnet. Protection from all elements.

The PPF ? Yes, eventually you quill have to remove it or replace it. However, like ceramic coatings, the time varies in different factors like weather and how much care you take of it. A 2-3 years ceramic coating can last much longer if you wash your cars with the right techniques and you apply a sacrificial layer on top of it like a ceramic wax or detail spray ceramic. Same with PPF, you can apply a ceramic coating on top of PPF ( you need to apply a dedicated ceramic coating PPF or see if your ceramic coating works well with PPF ) and that can extent the life of the PPF a lot.

ceramic coating is easy to apply (preparing the car for it is a lengthy process though (wash, degrease, clay etc).. applyign ppf is trickybut if you can pull it off you can get both done in under $1500 mostly.. trick is to not do the whole car at once since it ll take more than a day to accomplish for 1st timers.. i did it in pieces.. hood and front bumper on day 1.. doors on 2 different occasions.. and rear bumper and boot another day.. the car did look funny for a while (front was shining like morror while rest was okayish) but it paid off well in the end...

Ceramic Coating is cheaper, and it works best. I just put the 7 year package on my 2023 pick-up for $378.

Ceramic coating is cheaper, but it doesn't work the best, ppf will take the impact of stones flying out of nowhere on the highway just wipe off the spot and heat will take care of most impacts of that nature... ceramic coat will repel mess alot better and keeps that nice shine, but its not gonna protect your paint from stone chips... so in terms of protection definitely not the best option
@TotyrobyMaybe you should ask next time instead of laughing. The X years package means that you pay once for getting ceramic coating reapplied on your car every 6 months for X years which would be much cheaper than paying for it every 6 months for the same number of years.

it depends on the package you get. You can go from 2 years to 10 years. As you go up on the package, so does the price. With that said. The average consumer usually picks from 4 to 7 years on average. But even if you pick the cheapest package, you will still be OK if you do a 3 to 6 months maintenance on your ceramic coating. Maintenance is literally cheaper than the 1st time you coat your car. If you look online, prices will always vary from place to place. It also depends on the brand they are using.

coat the daily driver. ppf the expensive sports car or high value vehicle. but yeah if you have that expensive car do the coating over the ppf. both! 💪

Not really. The PPF protects against physical damage like stone chips, scratches and marring, while the Ceramic Coating protects against chemical damage like bird droppings, tree sap, bugs, road salt.
