You can also visit Harbour Island across from Eleuthera, and the beach has pink sands. In Nassau is also the food area, with various restaurants, called the Fish Fry. Enjoy the islands and the people.

I’ve been to the Bahamas and have seen this resort but we’ve never stayed. As a family I have a problem enjoying large resorts because of the inflated prices of everything and hidden fees. I appreciate you addressing this on the hotel. I would still like to visit one of these days
Oh yes I can imagine for a family this must be crazy and you're right the hidden prices are insane, like you said, to try once definitely a good idea but to do it in different locations (like the one they have in Dubai too, etc.) no way haha
you can also check the bahamar resort if you decide to come back

Love seeing tourists find my hometown interesting. A small bit of advice, try to connect with some of the locals. We're usually more than happy to showcase some of our local lifestyle and resources lol

😮 What an opening, just sliding through a shark pond lol. That coconut moment made me so thirsty haha. Took me back to my days in Madagascar.
I got screwed a few times in Canada forgetting about the tax/tips you have to add, good to know about atlantis too. Pricy place! Nothing worse than paying through the roof for an average meal. If you ever go to Madagascar you're in for a treat, amazing food (italian/french/african influences combined) and you don't have to pay much for a good quality meal, just need to find the places.
Thanks Aram! Oh yeah, the "tip culture" is definitely a whole new thing for those of us not used to it (happy to give tips but I don't want to feel forced to do so just because it's like that haha). Madagascar! This place has been on my to-do list for soooo long, hopefully next year as this year my travel plan is insane haha, I'll reach out whenever this happens so you can give me some tips! 🇲🇬

Stupid question but… if Bahamas is soo sunny.. when rains there? Soil must be very very dry if its not raining enough🤷♀️
Probably forgot to mention that 70% of the rainfall is between May and October :) So sunny but the water is always coming back 🤪

can you talk about how cell phones work in bahamas? is there wifi? when calling home is it a problem? or when calling around locally is there an issue?
There is Wi-Fi yes, particularly in Nassau and Freeport. But I highly recommend you buy a SIM card on arrival to have more freedom. I think I bought BTC (the primary telecommunications provider in the Bahamas). ✌️
i was suppose to go last year but couldnt because the familys that i have let everything blow up for me....i need a job lost ma job last week i can do live in housekeeping baby sitting am very humble i dont steel

So interesting how expensive it is when you're there. I bet it would be really hard to find vegan food which is a shame.
Oh yes, it was ridiculous the price haha. For vegetarians a challenge, for vegans I think almost impossible and it's a shame given the number of restaurants they have in place! I would understand if it was just in other areas of the island but in the resort complex... no excuses really :(

Nice tips for the Bahamas! Looks lush and beautiful, but have to pay the price for that beauty :D Covid tests is a huge friction in traveling now, its annoying.
Absolutely, everything has a a cost haha 💸 Yes hopefully this year we make progress and at least some of these restrictions can be lifted :)
