Thanks for posting the video, it is very good and I enjoyed playing around with Excel to get a version working. Are you able to share or direct me to where you got your word list please? As you say in the video the 12,000+word lists are not practical to use to play and one's around 2,500 that I have found use American English spellings. Any direction would be appreciated. Thanks.
Found it again! (The fact it's hosted by Donald Knuth and I'm using a Microsoft product is possibly ironic...) www-cs-faculty.stanford.edu/~knuth/sgb-words.txt
Thanks Chris. One thing though, if the solution is say MAXIM and I guess MIMIC, then it is telling me there are two Is in the solution - one yes and one maybe.
Thanks for the download. It works really well.
Hi The link for the download has expired is there anyway to get a copy of the file?
I much appreciated your efforts. Being curious yet no expert, is it too much to ask that you share the excel file?
I've added it to the video description.
After the last round of changes, it will only work in 365/online.
Can you share this file again?
Thanks very helpful

@@ChrisArmstrongChemistry Thank you
Love seeing just how far Excel can be stretched.

I never did get around to coding the double-letter rule(s) properly.
@@ChrisArmstrongChemistry Thanks for the update. I managed to do it in a fairly agricultural way using many columns!
