At least your rejected takeoff was just a cockpit indication. My first one was taking off at Midway Island. We sucked a gooney bird into number 3 engine just before V₁ and rejected the takeoff. We taxied back to parking and the flight engineer pulled most of the bird out of the number 3 engine intake (C-130H). After that, the fire department flushed the engine with one of their fire truck hoses. Then came the fun part. We had to rotate the propeller a few inches at a time for one full rotation while the FE inspected the turbine blades for damage. Once that was done and no damage found we tried again and made it off that time.

Take care as we here in the UK are I think about to go into another full lockdown. ( I live in the South West so we are not in Tier 4, just Tier 3 at the moment but that all could change apparently. I do understand what your going through. My son's best friend past 2 years ago. She was only 24 and healthy...same thing...she stop breathing and past in her sleep...so tragic for the family...god bless

As this video showed up as suggested I was sad to see someone so young die suddenly. This happened to my lovely niece. I am sorry to hear. Peace for everyone.
This happened to a good friend of mine who I knew since grade school! It turns out he had a condition with his throat that chocked him. When we were little, his fathers death was deemed a suicide and he had to grow up thinking his dad took his own life. He'd pulled the vehicle into the garage and shut the door, and was found dead. It was assumed he did it intentionally, but now, it's very likely that both men died from the same disorder and the father's circumstances were coincidental.
@@LtColDaddy71 That's terrible. Tragic since he also thought his father committed suicide. I wish these conditions could be spotted early and perhaps be treated.

We had a aborted landing into BOS on a rainy winter night around 2am! After we landed I asked the pilot what happened ..I was working FA1 ... I asked when all the pax's had deplaned..he looked at me and said very nervous... WE ALMOST HIT A UPS CARGO HEAVY!! We were on a B777! 😐

So sad to hear that. I am glad Sid has a Great friend in you. For the past 5 yrs or so there has been deaths among young grown ups. And they have been into sports on semi pro level. All of them had a heart defect. I have been flying for over 40 yrs and still have to go thru a aborted TO. I have been thru bird strikes, lightning, blown tires and extreme turbulence. I was going to comment mid-video about how scary the aborted takeoff must have been but then I saw the other comments about Sydney and I have no words. I absolutely cannot imagine being in that situation but I do know you guys are close friends; I am not sure how you can get through that situation without support so prayers to Sydney and Elliot's family, and thank you for being there for her.

Godspeed to Sydney and her boy friends family. I also wanted to mention my wife was a flight attendant and we had a aborted take off right before departure hit the brakes hard then it got dark all of a sudden it was a arriving plane go over us definitely wasn't our time God is good.

I am so sorry to hear about Sidney’s boyfriend! May God give them strength to get thru this difficult time. My thoughts and prayers are with them. The heart do not give us any warning please everyone take care of yourself. My dear friend was found dead this morning in her bed by her 8yrs old son 😢she was only 42, doctors confirmed that she suffered a heart attack while sleeping 😢😢 she was healthy, not overweight and had a active lifestyle 😔 we still trying to figure out why!
