In Sweden we have 85% participation, because all citizens who are allowed to vote get the voting card automatically in the mail from the IRS.

Fracking releases a lot of methane, which contributes to climate change. Fracking causes earthquakes, and contaminates ground water. Toxic chemicals used in the process can harm wildlife, and create a lot of waste water that is often not adequately treated before being dumped, causing even more pollution and contaminated water. The chemicals used cause cancer and blood disorders. Fracking uses large amounts of water in areas already short on water. This is green?
If you’re talking about natural gas, it’s not carbon neutral. It causes less pollution than other fossil fuels, but it’s not that great.
Fracking is used to extract oil, which we know causes pollution.
I used to tell my bosses that my job was to make them look great. I had two attorneys get on their knee to beg me to come back to work for them!

How can someone wants to vote for Donald Trump without being insane? Donald Trump has not changed he is who he was then. Can someone please explain why abortion seems to be the #1 issue for us democrat voters? I've never considered it the #1 issue. It doesn't seem logical to me, especially for this election. First, the supreme court ruled to make the issue a matter for the states to handle. So Trump can't do anything about the matter anyways unless the supreme court reverses its decision. Second, I ran the numbers. There are over 65 million women of child bearing age in the US. There were roughly 625,000 abortions performed each year. That's less than .1% of child bearing women who abortion has affected. Much further less affected for all women and even much further less than that for the US population as a whole. Why aren't we democrats more concerned with issues that affect all of us, like inflation? I still can get over Kamala's response to a supporter who asked about inflation. Kamala said, Americans are going to have to get used to paying more. Not sure about you all, but high prices affect me and everyone I know more than abortion does. Kamala's answer to inflation is the reason I won't vote for her. How dare she presume that we can all continue to pay higher prices. It's severly affecting my livelihood as I'm sure yours too. So what's going on regarding abortion? Are we being gaslit by MSNBC that democrats care about abortion more than anything else?
