Many people are comparing this with an AC. BUT, household run ACs for about nine hours a day and consume around 800 units of power a month on an average.
SO, on electricity (@₹8/in unit) you pay about ₹6000- ₹8000 per month for an AC.
For this fan, if it runs 9hours /day, it ll consume 7units a month, you pay just about ₹60-70/month.

No. Because India is a frugal and efficiency loving country and is fast accelerating towards energy efficient devices and BLDC fans are becoming norm here(consumes 30% energy that to a conventional fan, and the conventional fans here used to consume about 50% less energy than the fans that I see being sold in western countries)..Thanks to another start up called Atomberg. You can look it up Atomberg Renesa+ models are available with almost similar spec at about 1/3 cost of this LG Fan.
