You're right, the main theme of this version reminds me of the intro of "Atlantic" by Keane (One of their best songs in my opinion). This reinterpretation really sounds like an alternate realty version as happened with a couple of songs in Simulation Theory!

Yes! "Atlantic" by Keane! Exactly! That's the song I was thinking about, but I couldn't think of the name at the moment! I always seem to forget song names when I'm camera, so annoying! But yes, I LOVE that Keane song! Definitely one of their best! And yeah, I feel like the fans who don't like this are going to say this version belongs on Simulation Theory. I love it! I think it's cool to have different versions! People just have to be more open-minded, like Muses is, which is very evident in how they experiment with different genres and sounds in their music (one of the many things I love about Muse)! And yeah, I agree, Simulation Theory is such an underrated album, I think it's the album where they experimented the most, and it contains many quality songs like Blockades, The Dark Side, Break It to me, The Void, Algorithm ecc.. 😊
