Well for the price of 1mil that shotgun is the best shotgun for it's price and silver is easy to get.
Just a curiosity that I found about this new shotty: the fact its buckshot spread is so tight (according to wiki it's 3° only) is because there are many types of shotgun shells, and one of this is the slug (then you see the meaning of its name: silver slugster). A slug is basically an ounce of lead in a single proyectile, making it deadly and specially strong on impact.

Update: Damage on average is good but for crowd control, that's basically huge no, considering this gun is shooting with ultimate low spray angle...
But if you wanting to YEET zeds to someone you hate ( either from your rival or someone who YEET you last time with CS ) yes... Yes you can, but weaker unless you buff it up with DMG Boost...
All in all I love this fucking Shotgun, even tho it's worser than CS when it comes to DPS and Ace Barrel when it comes to Crowd Control, this gun is now my replacement from Ace Barrel due to it's DPH and capable to Knockback most of the boss much better than Ace Barrel

I never own it but I do use it before when I borrow it from my fellas for few days
No one can deny that CS is the best shotty in game right now
But you have an advantage over other types of shottys with this new craftable one: accuracy and a tight spread angle so you can 'snipe' zeds and people.
And you can get very lucky with this one by doing your stuff (farming ToTs and opening em) and not spend over 3m on MCing chester and crafting the shotty

I honestly think the shotgun would be better for pvp since shotguns have a thing for ignoring armor.

Fire rate works better on pvp rather than damage per shot
It's just a thought because I remember shotguns would just go through armor in pvp I remember doing low lol pvp and shotguns would win because armor did not take damage so all the damage went to the hp stat with the long range of the slugster it means you can do that damage from further

How are the zombies not spawning after a while of running around the map? When I try kill bosses the zombies always spawn, even if it's just me at the map, please let me know if it's a matter of switching to single player or something else

Im definitely getting that slugster for my shotgun alt, but i barely have 1.3 mil, I'm a poor guy
If you farm the ToTs you will spend only the million (a little bit more if you wanna try your MC on the chester before crafting the shotty)
With only 2.1m and 45 ToTs I got mine

Compared to the other craftable weapons from events, this shotgun is pretty shit. Theres just no point in using it over a sniper and u cant use it for grinding / crowd control.
Worth for beginners and for those who are short in cash to afford the CS. In my opinion, it is not useful for end-game players though.

will probably roll again, the shotgun is not bad for that price, not worth spending money on tot's unless you're a collector, just grind the bosses in MP and you should unlock it after opening 30 to 60 treats

some friends and i traded for the pistol and we all had one and its not even good so i wouldnt get it DX

Wait, how is the Chain Revolver just meh? It's basically one of the best SMGs with better accuracy, good cc because of the constant crits, and cheap ammo with slighty less consumption, it's really good. And the shotgun is a rifle that can't loot and worse for big cc than normal shotguns.
Revolver is meh because it’s not a good PVE weapon. For PvP it’s downright amazing. But I’m more of a player vs monster than PvP. Hence the meh
Combining this 2 weapons you get ultra damage from shotty and the chance to hit from far away with this shotty
Also think about this new revolver as an smg with very high crit chance: you have better crowd control with this revolver than with the shotty
@@Rmando I don't think it's "not a good PVE weapon" at all, it's not a heavy machine gun but like I said it's basically a top tier smg and definitely gets the job done when getting out of a bad situation if you are looting.
