Storyline:
The starship The Horizon explores a distant galaxy, picking up an ancient light signal from the lost Aelorian civilization. The Aelorians harnessed light for life and knowledge, encoding memories and a warning in beams of light before they were consumed by the "Voidwave"-a cosmic event that swallows stars. As the crew deciphers the signal, they discover the Aelorian's plea to stop this approaching threat and a way to build a "Photon Shield" to protect the galaxy.
The crew faces a choice: using the shield could drain all their power, but it's the only way to stop the Voidwave. They work together, channeling the warp core to activate the shield just as the Voidwave arrives. A brilliant light disperses the wave, leaving the galaxy safe.
Adrift without power, the crew finds solace in victory. The Aelorians’ light fades, leaving a legacy of hope-a guiding light for future generations.
