Cody rhodes just cooked the BLOODLINE
After seeing the way everything unfolded, Cody vs Roman was the absolute RIGHT choice_ and considering what was being said about the change taking place in professional wrestling again, "Finishing the Story" was Poetic justice because the "story" was not just about Cody redeeming himself for his loss last year, it was about closing the chapter on what at the time was TECHNICALLY still the "VINCE MCMAHON" era. So in order to bring something "new" in a building, you have CLEAN OUT ALL THE OLD STUFF 1ST. That is the reason why they chose to have THIS particular WrestleMania in PHILADELPHIA cuz they knew full well that Philadelphia is one of the "founding fathers" of pro wrestling.. So finishing the "story" was in all actuality an EXORCISM & BAPTISM from everything that was "EVIL" in the "Vince McMahon" era. So when Cody won it was like celebrating the clock striking 12 on New Year's Day.. NEW YEAR, NEW TIME, NEW BEGINNINGS.. THAT'S why there were so many emotional people crying that night. It was a celebration of FREEDOM, PEACE /RETURNING "HOME" TO OUR FIRST LOVE AGAIN!!

Imagine in 2016 at Wrestlemania 32 you tell someone that Stardust who was in an IC ladder match would be more over than the Rock who got one of the biggest pops that night.
The only other guys that got this organically over were Daniel Bryan & CM Punk (he beat cena in sales). Bray Wyatt (RIP) could've been there. Drew is on his way there.
