Wow! Great show! I'm so glad you ended up buying that gorgeous plate! And it was priced so well too! Worth every penny! And then you quartz cluster with its coating to make it rainbow was spectacular! And everyone else's buys were fantastic too! I liked the actinolite on septarian! And of course, who doesn't love fluorescent minerals! And they are so different under shortwave, mid wave, and long wave! Those dioptase were gorgeous! I wish I could afford a specimen like that! Wow! But my favorite and in my opinion, Best buy from that show, was your plate! By a long shot! I collect both fossils and mineral specimens and your plate was not only the best but for the price, but gorgeous with both orthoceras and ammonites on it but so many and that one big orthoceras in the corner, it's just fabulous! And yes, everyone made some great buys at the show, If I understand correctly, I believe that that actinolite on septarian came from deep under Manhattan. My students like that coated quartz.
