I’m an M5 guy myself. Have been for years. 7-12 when washing houses. I’ll also use a 2-3 gpm M5 with my 8 gpm for extra pressure on concrete. Very sweet!
I’ve been using the DS Twist for 2 years. It works great and gives plenty of distance for long shot downstreaming. I almost never use a JRod or shooter tip anymore. The DS Twist works so well. I’m in Leawood, KS
Glad u make these videos...since u know ur stuff on pressure washing...even know u dont use them..maybe a foam cannon ..bleach n soap set up for us diy guys..too clean roof n houses...thanks mike..
Cleveland, TN. Would loved to have seen the DS under the same water volume as the M5 (for soaping) instead of just using it after it bypassed the DS injector (for rinsing).
I have that DS attachment from Xjet. It works pretty well. I also have the other Xjet attachment for upstreaming. they both work very well. I also have a 4 banger. The ds is more convenient because all you have to do is to twist the tip to either fan or direct the stream to your liking .
Tampa Florida, it looks cold there. You already had a DS twist now you have one that gives you more Deery slap but pulls less chemical smaller orifice.
Love your content and the sandwich signs I recently purchased. You can also purchase a replacement M5 DS nozzle from Kleen Rite for 30 bucks and fix your old one.
A few miles outside of the borough of Susquehanna/Susquehanna Depot Pennsylvania, north eastern corner, got PennCan speedway in the back yard DS=direct spray
There is the xjet M5 twist and that has the barb hole in it to pull from a bucket. Then there is the xjet M5 DS Twist then the original X jet. Those are the 3 versions that have always been sold. So you bought the same thing you had but never realized what you had before was actually called the M5 DS twist.
In this video why don’t you use a 1.8 injector? I feel like it helps me so that I never really have to put a second application on unless something is really stubborn and then I’ll just use my roof wash solution or extra jet. Not like you needed it on this job lol nice work. Do you let dwell 15 minutes every season?
The purpose of the video is to spotlight the DS Twist. The size of the injector doesn’t effect things. I like the 1.8 in cold months, but the 2.3 in warmer months.
When I got my M5 twist the pack had M5DS twist on it, maybe they have just changed the packing to say DS twist??? who knows....either way now I feel like I need to pay more attention my fray and see how bad its getting.
Do you never clean epoxy floor or concrete paint I need to clean a car wash and I have no idea Any idea how to clean or chemicals Is a car dealership so car wash is inside the shop
Yes, but it will suffer a bit. I use 150’ on most neighborhood homes. But I keep 200’ on the reel, in 50’ increment. And use 2 extra 50’ lengths on the truck.

Great point. Really great point. However, you kinda did see the M5 rinsing only, when I was watering the house for the before pic. Great comment!

Mount zion, Illinois. You had me question every purchase I had ever made, I had always assumed the M5 twist was made by xjet.
Perhaps it was. I did a little research. The M5 and the DS are in fact the same thing

hey mike, i'm ready to order a new twist.. are you getting the same distance with the "dumbed down " version?
That’s a great question. I’m really not sure. I just love it for impact. And the fan pattern

That’s right. The different sized orifices determine how much water is allowed through the injector. This determines the strength of the solution.
