According to the gendarmerie, their choreography was supposed to be a combination of a huge banner, that would cover the whole section of supporters, and pyrotechnics underneath the banner. They said that it would be too dangerous for the fans to let them go ahead and do the choreography so they banned them from displaying the choreography in order to prevent them from basically hotboxing themselves to death with the fumes from the pyrotechnics.

Awesome video. As a Dinamo fan I have to respect Rapid's fans. Dinamo and Steaua have amazing fans as well, it's a nice three way rivalry. Dinamo is supposed to have a new stadium in 2025 and it'll be wild and the Steaua fans are split between the two Steaua teams that exist (FCSB and CSA)...I hope you get to experience a Dinamo home derby when they'll have a new stadium. The Dinamo ultras definitely made a mistake by leaving the stadium and letting the team down. However they had good reason. They were protesting a stupid and oppressive law plus thay weren't allowed to display a banner because the organiser of the match was butt-hurt.
So, the reason they were not allowed with the choreography is that it was dangerous, not because it had a racist message. I am a Rapid fan and have been for 30 years but I think that message (Dinamo's choreography) was smart and funny and I am really sure we wouldn't have been offended if they showed it. You can be punished for saying and doing things that are considered not so social-friendly, but the freedom of speech us crucial in a healthy democracy. So if I offend you, I will pay for it, legally; but the real consurn is actually that I won't have the possibility to offend you. Cheers!
the problem with the romanian football is that despite we stay well with fans displaying full support and passion to their teams , our romanian teams failed to enter in european competitions (Champions League, Europa League and Conference League) , from all 4 teams involved this year in preliminaries , none of them succeed to enter in group stages of these 3 european competitions... zero !

sadly romanian football is at a very low level overall so I stopped following a long time ago but Rapid is the club I grew up supporting so I always find it cool that it so happened that out of all the possible teams, this is the one that caught your eye. Right now I go watch their women's handball team, that actually is one of the top teams in Europe and everyone always notices the fans at their matches too, even the staff and players of the opponents take videos at the end, like when they play in the EHF Champions League, the atmosphere is insane, you should try it if you're ever in Romania when there's a match like that.

The Dinamo supporters were not evacuated. They left because the Jandarmerie didn't let them use the coreo. Rapid will get the same treatment at Dinamo's stadium.
These foreigners came from another country trip to the country that banned them for breaking the EU Law to see a team playing Football, a sport they know next to nothing about, to cheer for a team they have little hood ties to and aren't bound to bleed their hearts for that team. They were permitted front field access, something even a President would hope for and cheered their hearts out and had fun with the kids, the adults, the ladies and the men that were there. And Dinamo fans are still fighting in the chat by using the same racist comments that their Ultras weren't allowed to use at the match. Seriously? Sing another damn song, don't leave your team! SMFH... I bow My head to the new perspective that someone from another part of the world can have on The Beautiful Game. Now, as a Rapid fan, that seemed shitty on their part - I get it, you can't do the tifo and pyros, but at least stay and support your team. Maybe they are protesting something that I am not aware of other than the police's decision that night, but really weird.

These foreigners came from another country trip to the country that banned them for breaking the EU Law to see a team playing Football, a sport they know next to nothing about, to cheer for a team they have little hood ties to and aren't bound to bleed their hearts for that team. They were permitted front field access, something even a President would hope for and cheered their hearts out and had fun with the kids, the adults, the ladies and the men that were there. And Dinamo fans are still fighting in the chat by using the same racist comments that their Ultras weren't allowed to use at the match. Seriously? Sing another damn song, don't leave your team! SMFH... I bow My head to the new perspective that someone from another part of the world can have on The Beautiful Game. From what I heard, the Dinamo fans left because the police did not allow them to display their banners and pyros because it would've been too crammed and dangerous, so they said "fuck it" and left on their own accord.
Now, as a Rapid fan, that seemed shitty on their part - I get it, you can't do the tifo and pyros, but at least stay and support your team. Maybe they are protesting something that I am not aware of other than the police's decision that night, but really weird.
