    Was debating getting one. I have 14 clown loaches. Thank you for specifically mentioning loaches. In the back of my mind I knew it wasn’t a good idea but your video confirmed that. 🙏.

    I had a Dojo Loach and ADFs I'm the same tank as a rainbow. Never saw any aggression. I currently have a rainbow shark in a 20 L with some Mollies, guppies, and a Betta. No aggression even though the shark explores the entire tank

    i have about a 4 and half inch one and loves to hide, got this awesome tube it loves to hang out in, it really loves it, still comes out and about but soon darts away when feeling threatened, i think im quite lucky with mine it only seems to boss the corys around, leaves my smaller fish alone and my hoblo cat fish alone too :)

    Hey! Thanks for useful stuff homie. Few quick questions though; are the sharks shown in your video juveniles? Do they darken in colour with age?
    I really like the look of red tail sharks, but love that the rainbow shark has red fins all around. In comparison to juvenile red tail sharks, they kinda look like a whole different fish if you know what I mean?
    And which do you prefer between red tail and rainbow? Cheers

      They can darken with age or I found possibly my lights on my tank my cause them to lighten up some. I like rainbow sharks more. I don’t see any noticeable difference in behavior or anything, I just like more of the red for sure. The albino ones are pretty cool too! Thanks for watching!

      Your tank sounds close to what I have! I'm thinking of adding a rainbow shark to my 55 gallon. I currently have 6 corydoras, 7 tiger barbs, a bristle nose pleco and a gold severum.

      I have 1 rainbow shark, 1 angelfish, 1 dwarf gourami, 1 swordtail, 7 assortment danios, 8 serpae tetras and a snail in my 55 gallon. The rainbow shark will charge at the tetras but they deserve it because they mess with my angel at times.

    I made the mistake of buying 4 of these for my 3 foot tank. They're in with 2 gouramis and 2 shibunkin goldfish. I've only noticed them being aggressive towards each other, but not the other fish.

    • @aquariuminsider730
      @aquariuminsider730  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      They can be super aggressive towards their own kind for sure.

    Should i separate my 2 shark fishes from 2 goldfishes because sharkfish are getting bigger fast.

    • @aquariuminsider730
      @aquariuminsider730  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      If you see them getting real aggressive with each other or the other fish than I would just to be safe.

      @@aquariuminsider730 no both the sharks and goldfishs are peaceful.

    • @aquariuminsider730
      @aquariuminsider730  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@nikhil-sawhney I would leave them. If they’ve been growing up together they might be fine. As the sharks get older they will get more aggressive. Just monitor it and make adjustments as you need.

    Why does my rainbow shark sit at the bottom at the end of the day

    • @aquariuminsider730
      @aquariuminsider730  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      This is mostly normal behavior for Rainbow sharks. One thing I would look for to make sure of is if it is eating. Do you feed him algae wafers or does he eat leftovers from the top swimmers in the tank? If the Rainbow shark is eating well, I wouldn’t worry too much. If it’s not eating well, try introducing some veggies like spinach and/or algae wafers if you aren’t already. Hope this helps!
