Jackdaw I will redeem eggboy! Some predictions: -griffins, so we can fly over the map. - agree with the regions which you have mentioned as areas we will explore. - off course we will decided the war between tevinter and the qunari, and I would like the option to make Tevinter the great empire it was before, ruling all of Thedas. - a spy for the titans, a child of the titans sent as a spy. Choice for dwarf. If not as protaganist then as a company, whose true identity we will discover later in game. - give me back blood magic, as magical playstyle!
The Ex-Saarebas ends up being a Loyal Qunari Ben-Hassrath Agent betraying you if you're against the Qun. If there's an Elf in the party kill them immediately no questions no mercy. If they're a Spirit banish them to the Fade as quickly as possible. The enemies against Humanity are clearly Elves, Spirits and Qunari. Trust ONLY Humans and Dwarves with No Magic at all. I'm saying this as an Elf and Mage-Supporter NO MORE they've proven the Templars and Orlais and Chantry right they CAN'T be trusted anymore if ever! (Ameridan was a Good Elf Mage to bad he's dead and his people chose to reject his beliefs for Harmony and Peace making him the Exception to the Rule instead of the Example to Live By.)
What I'd like to see is my gray warden Cousland in Weisshaupt reunited with her romantic interest, Leliana. It would be nice to see them actually walk off into the sunset together to live out their lives after a final victory here.
I believe our next player character will be either a Tevinter slave, or a Lord of Fortune. Solas doesn’t have the idol yet and it’s still out there in the world.
I love how the new map of Thedas not only expands the view of lands further out but also shows every single bit of the Imperial Highway in ruins. Also a little bit of a view of what the Wardens HQ looks like.
I haven't compared the map to the older ones but the countries seem to be aligned slightly differently. The map didn't get put into a lot of the books.
@@JackdawYT I love your companion ideas but i have something to add. we have in DAO 8+ 1(DLC) DA2 (i don't look at this) DAI 9 + 3. So I hope for 10 + ? but ..... My row is DAO 9+1 (+ a free march elf women) DA2 9+2 (chance a lot without removing someone) and than DAI brings me to my favorite choice 12 + 1. So i thing let fenris be an NPC would be better for the story. For fenris we get a warrior executor male (new race please) romanceble of course. Also romancebale the qunari women, the bard and grey warden ramesh. For the 3 left to 12 rough human female romanceble, warrior Autumn, mage elf male romanceble. And of course the + 1 is varric romanceble (i want to kick bianca in the ass.) That make
I'd like to see one of the Elven Gods pitted against Solas. Perhaps Dirthamen, as the Keeper of Secrets, was never trapped with the others. The Dalish seem to regard him as the Creator that taught them the love and power of family which doesn't fit with the others.
A thought: Maybe New Protagonist finds the red lyrium idol at the end of the prologue/tutorial dungeon, which puts a target on their back, and one of the early major quests involves how they get involved with the greater conflict.
Really hope the inquisitor and solas can get some sort of satisfying ending...not involving death...please.. ;_; He is too deep of a character and too great a romance to just kill off.
@@hasogon there's been enough of that. I already mourned Kylo Ren's sacrifice. Honestly, if they do that crap I'll be so pissed. Let's see a redeemed villain live with the consequences for once.
@@victormota1530 Leliana must be at least mentioned, since she would play a huge part if you chose her as Divine.Specially considering she completely changed the entire religion to her own personal liking.
The Lords of Fortune are mentioned enough times in the book that I definitely think they will have a significant part to play. I thought the stories were brilliant and have super hyped me up for the game!
Hey you ever notice how Solas has a mug hanging from his bag when you meet him (until you switch his armor).. @Jackdaw you think it's his coffee mug?!.. maybe that's why he hates tea! 🤔
I wonder if the game will be about finding and stoping solas or it will start with the vail to open and we have to find how to deal with the problems that goes with it and in doing so trying to find him to help/ punching him in the face for his actions...
@@JackdawYT I doubt that. Unless Bethesda wants to go super dark and kill 85% of the population of Thedas, because Solas flat out said a *lot* of people work die when the veil comes down. Whether they're incinerated by the magic they suddenly have but can't control or are killed by demons, the result is the same.
I’ve just finished Tevinter Nights, read it in 24 hours because I WAS HOOOOOKED. Such a great book. I am already heavily invested in Luca(nis) so that crow better be a companion. Also Fenris of course, but it will be sad that he probably can’t be romanced (there can never be enough Fenris romance). Before the book I was convinced we would join the Sutherland crew, but now I feel like that’s not going to happen. I still think we’ll be seeing them at some point in the game, it would just be a fun little throwback. Warden Ramesh would be interesting, but he might be too similar to Blackwall in appearance and personality. Antoine from “Hunger” may be a better bet, a seemingly happy-go-lucky Warden that wants to prove himself (there always have to be an adorkable goofball even if I did not enjoy that story per se). I would love to have “Hollix” in the party, partly because they seem awesome and partly because of the gender/race fluidity. It may be a lot of work to make that transfer successfully to in-game though. Might be easier to throw in an Executor, Tali style! I would like to see something like an executor, with something completely different from the standard rogue/mage/warrior styles. And also WHAT IS UNDERNEATH DAT ROBE. I have to say I would love for Lessef to join in a be a badass murder crone but I am loving me some Lucanis so if I can only have one crow he is the one. I will insist on going to the Necropolis, as it sounds epic. I agree on being a spy, it makes the most sense, and you can even give everyone a good backstory a la Origins and please the masses. I could write 50 more pages about this but I will shut up for now. Thanks for the excellent video, when I was reading the book I was so excited to watch this afterwards!
It would be wonderful if we are getting a bit of Dragon Age Origins-style unique character openings that result in all being drawn to the same place! I get that vibe from TV being a collection of short stories that lead all the characters into some of the Solas mayhem.
I would love to have Marius as a companion, being a magekiller must be dope and essential for the quest ahead. And also a female qunari mage that has as a quest to learn her people's past and their association with dragons. ( I know the qunari part is a bit of a stretch but would love to know more about them! ).
As always an awesome video. I agree with much in this video, but I was thinking. Wouldn’t it be awesome if the inquisitor is with you when you confront Solas. And depending if they where rivals, friends or lovers, they will react differently to you’re decision on how to deal with Solas and that a lover would try to save Solas by fighting you and die together with her lover. Would be heartbreaking but also beautifull that the lovers will rest in peace together.
I have a feeling they'll die well before that. The common theme among Dragon Age protagonists is that you are thrust into a position of leadership. Kind of hard to feel like a leader with your boss right behind you.
I definitely think we will play as a lord of fortune. Cuz a group of warriors of all races known for fighting and dungeon diving for that sweet sweet loot definitely sounds like a player character. Plus it would make it easier since they wouldn’t have to make dedicated origin sequences for each race.
I would love to see Strife as a companion, along with the mage from that story. He was quite interesting. I agree on Lucanis, he would be an interesting companion as well, maybe as a romance.
A female tal-vashoth mage that I can romance as a female protagonist would just about make my millennia. Other than that I really hope we get more lore on the titans and their relationship to dwarves. All of the deep lore is centered on the elves, but the dwarves have some really fascinating history I’d like for the game to delve into. Even if we can’t focus on it, I would still like more to be revealed.
I was thinking that if we don't get a dual protagonist, the Inquisitor has to be featured somehow since they are tied to the whole Solas plot. A codex entry would not suffice so they'll have to be put in the game like Hawke was. However people were unhappy since it didn't match the Hawke they have built, I think that if our new protagonist meets the Inquisitor, we should be able to choose the dialogue options for the Inquisitor as well. In this way people will be less likely to complain that their Inquisitor is saying something out of character.
This was a great video, I enjoyed your predictions and agree with so many of them! I would personally love to see Dorian and the Inquisitor again. Varric too even if he isn't present physically in the story (like, maybe he gets referenced a lot). I also wish more characters could get happy endings lol. Just for me and my poor, delicate heart.
The protagonist needs to be the Inquisitor. To have it be anyone else is to squander so much potential to such an extent that honestly I might have to consider not getting the game (also not a fan of them leaving stories undone if they're done with the character which Trespasser does to them). I think Bioware might be setting the Inquisitor up to return though, since Tevinter Nights has a lot of Inquisition involvement and the establish the existence of prosthetic limbs that don't hamper fighting and exploring. As for companions, I love your idea about Vaea not killing but serving as a support rogue. I would love to be able to do non-lethal playstyles as well, and maybe that could open the door for that. Not really a fan of any of the other characters you mentioned (also Fenris can be dead so I don't think he'll be an option). I'd love Francesca to be one of the mage companions.
S K I recall Bioware saying they want to avoid another Leliana situation. If Fenris is alive, I can definitely see him helping on a mission like that. Like the ME2 squad mates if alive in ME3.
It's Dragon Age, I see no situation in which the Inquisitor is the protagonist. At best, the new M.C. will join the Inquisition as a spy or something, we'll do a few missions for the Inquisitor, then about halfway through the story, they'll die and we'll have to finish what they started.
Weirdly enough, I would be more into seeing the Warden confront Sten than Inquisitor confront Solas.... I know it won’t happen but it would be cool. 🤔 Also, I wanna romance an Executor. I am sure it would go over without any heartbreak.
Okay. My fave characters in TN were the two Grey Wardens who hunted the werewolf. I hope they are front and center of DA4. And I loved Lelianas spy Charter. Which brings up Spy. And Grey Wardens redeeming themselves and a romanceable dwarf for Scout Harding.
I really enjoy your videos, I almost spilled my drink: ... "Is Solas a virgin?" 😂 ... I would really like to see more of Antiva and the Antivan Crows - maybe even meet Zevran again *sigh*. Fenris as a returning character would be nice too - he was quite fascinating! Bioware should really hire you for some fresh ideas... And I definitely have to read Tevinter Nights, even though I have some difficulties to get them in Germany at the moment😑
Does not kill doesn't mean bad in RPG/tactical games. cc (stuns, sleeps,slows...) Healing (magic or not) Utility (bonus inventory slots, smokes bombs, spell distrupting, parades, blocking, cut down arrows in splinters... there is room to build an amazing character in and out fights)
I imagine Solas will end up dying but his essence will end up joining with Anders ..... And for the people asking about 'My Hawke killed him that did not matter for Lelliana.
Hello Jackdaw, it's my birthday today and my only wish is to stay as awesome as you've always been (I donno if this makes any sense or not, but you know what I mean). I really appreciate your hard work and the updates you give us on this channel. Stay safe and keep up the good work. Love you man. Czakó Tibor. :D
The real question is what happened to the inquisitor’s missing arm and the anchor? did we chop it off after solas froze it? did he simply absorb it? will it be relevant for the next plot?
Evelyn Kay or their arm could take shape of a weapon depending on the specialization you chose. Imagine how SICK they would look like as a knight enchanter with a magical sword arm-
Love the companion speculation, here Is a tinfoil hat question for you-- given the teased return of the Evanuris, do you think it is at all possible we could develop an "enemy of my enemy" relationship with one of these evanuris and have them become a companion? Is this too crazy?
I loved how in DAO, Redcliffe turned out differently depending on whether or not you chose to protect it. Would love to see our how our choices impact the in-game interactions.
part 1: i dont know if i would call this a theory or more of my thoughts just on the subject, but one thing i did notice that before tevinter nights is how solas operated the "wolf pack". before tevinter nights, the mentions of the wolf pack were very isolated and far apart from each other, but mainly isolated to the events of Deception and Masked Empire. here is something i noticed: ever notice that there is never a reference to other agents? or really barely anything about the wolf pack? and do you really think that waking up a year before DAI and somehow making an incredibly effective spy network that no one in all of thedas knows about till trespasser dlc and the qunari running into fen herel agents in the eluvian network? which really only happened because both groups were trying to get the eluvian network. but even then ever notice none of the agents talk about the grand plan? no reason or motivation why they are there, or their cause? even groups like the ben hassrath reveal more information than that. Now all of a sudden in tevinter nights he is recruiting whole daleish clans and groups of people? why is there such a change in motus operondi? well i have an idea on whats going on with the wolf pack. part 2: the main idea i have is the wolf pack was originally a cult of fenherel that solas took over subtlety using his sleeper abilities. using his sleeper abilities, he came to them and convinced the cult that he was fen herel (which i mean, solas is fen herel so that shouldn't be too difficult) but he sent out the cult members on individual missions to do certain things in their dreams. initially what solas did was contact a cult member and give them a mission and send them out. the missions were broad, like "gain access" to the eluvain network or gather information on the shemlen. they go out and with that broad of a mission and virtually no oversight this gave the agents operational freedom that lead to things like giving up access to the network or giving away a red lyrium weapon for information that solas wouldnt approve of. but that is the beauty in solas 's use of his sleeper abilities, if he keeps his network small enough, he can have his people report directly via the fade with no way of intercepting the information or revealing the agent. how you disable a spy network is you find a spy, that spy reveals their higher up or handler, then you track them down, and so on up the chain. but how do you do that for a group that only can say " yeah my boss contacts me when im asleep and thats that". this allows every agent total anonymity in their mission. it may be so be so isolated that another fen herel agent may not be able to spot another agent. or at least a small cell or lone wolf could spot another. tanswers another question: how much does these agents know about solas's true plan? well i dont think they know anything on his true plan. what would solas gain if they knew his plan? if his agents know his plan, all of the benefits that solas's lone wolf system would be completely undone. not to mention how many of the cultists would willing to continue solas's plan if they knew that they would probably die and everything they have ever known is going to be destroyed? not as many if he just kept them out of the loop. and if they arent communicating with each other, how can fen herel agents gather want the full scope of the plan if they are operating alone and have no idea what missions are out there. part 3: so then why change the modus operondi? well solas had lost agents in trespasser, masked empire, and deception and went from a spy network that no one knew about to nearly every spy network knows about and then on top of that in tevinter nights we see that many of the most powerful spy networks have interacted with solas and know how much of a threat he is so much to the point that they are willing to team up to cooperate with each other. now with less agents than he started with, he probably knew he had to recruit more people to keep all the world away from ruining his plans. solas knows that lone wolf operatives wouldnt be enough, but he could probably expand his system to have one agent he speaks with control a small cell or group (like a daleish clan) that does his bidding. and to a certain extend he is probably not telling his agents the full truth on what is going on and probably isnt keeping other groups in touch with each other to make it harder for his enemies to actually figure out what the full extent of his plans are. Getting elves to work his cause isnt that difficult, offering either ancient elves to have their home back and daleish can gain back their lost heritage, and its all being led by an elf.
It's a Calpernia quest! So you'll need to side with the Templar's and follow Leliana's quest-line to save Calpernia. You'll come across this mission to find her Magister, which is the mage in the blue shield!
I really hope to see Morrigan, mainly because she has if not the biggest motive to go after Solas after all he killed Flemeth... Morrigan had a strange relationship with her mother but in the previous games we found that she in the end had changed her mind towards Flemeth after finding out the truth about how she transfers to her daughters. Moreoever, I feel even bold to say it that she might even be involved in the final confrontation with Solas.
Let's hope there will be origin stories and different starts like in Dragon Age Origins. An origin story where you start as a Tevinter slave would definitely give an interesting start to the game. (both interaction and storytelling wise)
I've been looking up and watching videos about Assassin's Creed since I woke up this morning. I guess taking a break to watch a Dragon Age would do my brain some good. Also congrats on getting married.
@@kingdarious9244 We know nothing about Starfield and Bethesda hasn't had a good track record as of late when they try new ideas. ES6 I hope is good or great but I don't think they'll ever reach Morrowind or even Oblivion levels of good again...Hopefully it'll remain moddable to fix it. The next Witcher game will be awesome but first comes Cyberpunk and it's DLC's so it's going to be awhile before we really hear about it.
As far as choosing between opposing factions, if we have a spy protagonist, I think there should be an option to try to play both sides. Tell each faction that you're definitely not working with their enemy, only to turn around and do exactly that. I think this option should come with a significant risk of it blowing up in your face, but with a slim chance of working if you play your cards just right.
One ally I would love to see is Charade Amell, Gamlen's daughter (and Hawke's cousin) from Dragon Age II. She is definitely a force to be reckoned with, given her "Gamlen's Greatest Treasure" storyline. Fingers crossed!
I think Rogues Charter- Leliana's protégé, will either be playable or serve as a Inquisition Leliana role. Harding Zevran- Highly likely to return in some form with the Antivan storyline Bianca Davri- Will possibly play a bigger role. Mages: Maevaris- Will be a companion or serve as an advisor Rhys: From Asunder, the original rebel mage. Warriors Evangeline- From Asunder, Fenris, Krem from the Chargers Sutherland from the Inquisition
Weirdly want to see sera return with the red jennies. Maybe as a faction to win over and her acting as a faction leader offering insight on solus sense her and solus had very unique dialog.
I wanna share my companion roster. I have been toying around with it for a while, want to jot it down so that I can look back at it later and see how right or wrong I was. Probably there are slots that are going to be filled will all new characters, but teambuilding is fun, so here it goes. Mages: A Mortalitasi: Myrna, the necromancer - I considered Sidony, but I want to go with the absolute minimum companions that Solas may know (and that's Harding) A Dalish: Irelin, the shapeshifter - Merrill would be relevant too, but she can end up in a pretty unfavourable situation in DA2. We need a hedge mage, who can betray us and who better than an elf who can be Solas's double agent. A Tevinter: Vadis or Myrion but I really like the saarebas idea too - also, I'd like the inclusion of Myrion as a Tevinter mage from low-birth to counter the Southern stereotype that all Tevinter mages are magisters Rogues: Harding - Lace is the ace, obviously. A Lord of Fortune: Hollix - I think of them as more rogue than warrior, because of all the cunning and sneaking, but as a monster hunter, they could easily go with warrior as well. Or maybe a swashbuckler type of rogue. A Crow: Lucanis Dellamorte - we need to have a Crow and he is just perfect. Warriors (here's when I'm really uncertain): A Templar from Minrathous: maybe Knight Templar Rana Savas A Grey Warden or a Carta dwarf bruiser/smuggler: I want to say Evka, but pretty sure that's not gonna happen. Can't really see Ramesh here either, only as a cameo - he has seen too much. Fenris: ex-slave from Tevinter, not elfy but still an elf who hates mages, previous companion - too relevant not to include. Though I have my concerns about him working with Tevinter or even Nevarran mages and if Hawke was his partner and got left behind in the Fade, I would doubt he would work with the Inquisition. If they go with the easiest and pretty versatile PC background of Tevinter slave caught in the turmoil of the Qunari-Tevinter conflict, fleeing their home while bumping into, being aided then recruited by Advisor (Dorian or Mae or someone working with them) to be turned into a spy, then I would say, the default team would be: Tevinter mage - Minrathous Templar - Hollix. The rest would be recruited later and the connection with the Inquisition would be established through the recruitment of Harding - so I'd actually prefer to add her later, though I also considered her as a default team member instead of Hollix.
I’m probably a million miles off but I think this could be an interesting twist: Mythal joined Flemeth to get around modern thedas, maybe Fen Harel did the same to Solas? And it is Solas (the person) we could attempt to redeem, and have him pass him on to another person in some way? One of the final scenes where solas seems to absorb mythal from flemeth reminded me of the corphyeus’ ability to transport to another willing blighted body. The old gods would do this as the arch demon. Maybe this technique of transporting ones soul is actually al eleven god ability, rather than a blight ability, and it could be manipulated to transfer the soul into a known/willing body (like morrigan did with her unborn child). How about, just to go balls to the wall.... corypheus manages to come back through the Warden from DAO, Fen Harel is absorbed into the inquisitor, Mythal is finally accepted by Morrigan and they all go up against the nations of thedas, after your DA4 spymaster has managed to elevate and stitch together a huge network of tenuous alliances: have corypheus wake up the last of the old gods to form the biggest blight ever seen, versus the eleven gods and their demon army/ spirit elves from the fade, versus the nations of thedas. Then they are invaded by the reapers and have this whole thing shown to be one of the previous cycles of the mass effect series. This will give the entire universe a big enough blowout which ultimately resets the whole thing for da5 on PS6/ Xbox Panda Beta, when the dragon age and mass effect trilogy will be released as a remaster only 4K 60fps, despite the consoles being able to render 8k 120fps and everyone will still be complaining at the ending of mass effect 3 and The Last Of Us 2

Agreed, now is a good time, since so many remakes and whatnot are still happening. An HD remaster, like a total overhaul of DAO, would be awesome, and I think, help fans out while we continue to wait for the next game, as well as get new fans and create hype for the series to continue. For some reason I wonder if are character will have to become a god/goddess to defeat solas because you know what they say In order to defeat a god you must be one
I think we will get to choose factions *later* in the game. For instance, if you're a mage you could join the mortalitasi, Tevinter circle, or the new mage collective in Ferelden. If you are a rogue: carta, crows, or lord of fortune. Warrior: fog warriors, whatever became of the templars, or chevalier. The factions might tie into your specializations too, giving those more story weight, so to speak. This would lend a lot of replay-ability to the game, and maybe change what your base camp looks like in each
Tevinter alone should make it dark fantasy again, though any adventure in the Crossroads can bring back high fantasy element as well. I've posted about locations before, so instead I'll address something you said during your point about Tevinter being under threat from Solas' plan. You say Solas' plan threatens Thedas at large, which is true. So I must again make the obligatory push for the return of the Hero of Ferelden. The (ex-)Inquisitor needs people Solas doesn't know, and the Hero certainly qualifies, but that doesn't mean the Hero must play a prominent role. I maintain that the Hero can make a cameo appearance at Weisshaupt in order to help sort out the Warden problems directly. After these problems are resolved by the Hero and new protag, the (ex-)Inquisitor and Halistougain can meet up with the Hero and plan to have the Hero and Halistrougain act as decoys along with Cullen back in Ferelden and Free Marches in order to draw Solas' attention toward them. That way the (x)In and new protag can keep working in secret to flank Solas from his blind-spot. This also gives the Hero a RATIONAL role in helping to save the world. It's also a nice setup with the Hero and possibly Alistair or Loghain teaming up again. A Hero and Champion combo would also be good. Stroud remains the weakest character thematically, but still okay. BioWare could play it to where an Orlesian Warden-Commander knows Stroud to give their story more impact. As for the new protag, he or she could be sent to infiltrate the Wardens to learn what's happening. Sounds like a good spy mission to me. We could even use our new Warden party companion to gain access to Weisshaupt. Or maybe this is the mission in which we meet our new companion, and it's the Hero/WC who gets us in. Interesting plot with the Crows and Qunari. Say, ya know who can have a contact within the Crows AND the Antaam? The Hero of Ferelden. The Hero can have a working relationship with Ignacio and have been allies with Sten, now the Arishok. Seems like a relevant plot for the Hero. The Hero could convince Arishok to ignore Antiva and just focus on Tevinter while the South deals with Solas. Arishok will likely take the word of the Hero as truth. I think having some spy missions are fine, but I don't think being a spy is a good enough plot. Rather I believe that being a "Spy" should be a specialization within the rogue class that grants special abilities that facilitate spying. Not entirely sure what that would look like, but maybe have it so the range of the spy's hearing is heightened to overhear conversations from a safer distance, or detect enemies at greater distances, or have better stealth abilities, or maybe detect when an enemy is about attack with a major blow. There could also be a battlefield advantage where only spies can one-hit-kill enemies up to a certain level provided they are stealthed and near a particularly darkened part within the environment. There could be shadowed corners in a castle, or various doors that don't open for anyone but spies, and they can be used to hide in and launch an ambush. DA4 could introduce a feature where warriors and mages make more noise when walking, and rogues will be able to enter a quieter mode. In that case, spies would be able to move quickly while still remaining silent. They might also be able to adopt some talents from the Scoundrel and Sabotage trees and focus on inhibiting or misdirecting enemies to weaken them for the others in the party to take out. Isn't Halistrougain at Weisshaupt? I know the epilogue states Hawke returned to help Varric, but this could just be another case of fake epilogue conclusions that will be thrown out in the next game. Even if it's not, Hawke should be able to tell us what happened at Weisshaupt. I think DA4 should have origin stories. Which means, some of those origins can't be spies. Some will be warriors, or mages, or combat-heavy rogues. This is another reason why I don't think being a spy is good enough. The new protag can do some spy missions, and a rogue should be able to excel at such missions by gaining the Spy Specialization, but the game should feature combat and magical missions as well so warriors and mages can excel in those areas. Also, as I've mentioned before, I think a fourth class should appear in DA4, and it should be "Tactician", which can move in the direction of any of the other three classes (magic could be used through items or special weapons). It's about being able to customize the experience for the character you create. Would the Inquisition want to work with a Ben Hassrath though? Can such an agent really be trusted? I don't see qunari being a playable race this time around. How are they supposed to move around Tevinter when they're at war with them? Also, I doubt an ex-Fen'Harel agent would be trusted. That elf could be a double agent against us. That's too much of a risk. In fact, any elf from Tevinter might pose some kind of risk of betraying us for Solas. I think the (ex-)Inquisitor should be involved in the storyline, and make cameo appearances, but I don't think he or she should be playable. It should be like when Hawke showed up, only more involved in the story. I don't see a Tevinter protagonist getting along with Qunari. I think the only way the Ben-Hassrath can be allies is if the Inquisition was not disbanded and accepted their explanation that Dragon's Breath was not authorized. The protag would then get Ben Hassrath info through the Inquisition. As for the Inquisition, it could have been disbanded. In which case the only support you'd get is from Divine Victoria, and each one is different in how they would respond to the Qunari. Leliana might also have three different perspectives depending on her personal quest. The Carta could be good, so long as they cooperate and aren't split up by factions. The Venatori might still have some factions claiming to be the true Venatori or the true will of Corypheus, but I think Calpernia will be the leader of most Venatori, and all the other factions will be snuffed out by her and her allies. I think we'll be able to ally with Calpernia, and she may even be a party companion. I think Solas will be one antagonist, but not the main one. He's basically Corypeus 2.0. I think Solas is being used by others, possibly Mythal, or the Forbidden Ones, or Old Gods, or some of the other evanuris. I think Solas' plans will fail constantly, and even when he brings down the Veil it won't fall completely, as he expects. This will only release the evanuris and devastate certain areas of Thedas. Also, I think Elgar'nan and Falon'Din will emerge from their respective prisons with their full power. They won't have entered Uthenera in all that time they were sealed away as Solas likely expects they did, which means they won't be weak like he was when he awoke from his slumber. Basically, Solas is foolish, misguided, and self-contradicting. I'm not impressed with him as a strategist or as an opponent. If we're looking for allies who can beat Solas, the Hero of Ferelden is the best ally possible. We should also look to those with high magic resistance. Solas' main threat is his petrification ability. We need people who can resist that magic. Spirit Warriors, Arcane Warriors, Seekers, Templars, and Legionnaire Scouts come to mind. I think Vaea would be a perfect fit for the Tactician class I want BioWare to introduce. She doesn't use stealth in the same way a rogue does, she knows how to map out various areas, she can calculate and remember guard patrol routes and their timing, and she fights by blocking attacks and outmaneuvering opponents. This is like when you "kite" and enemy in a game. I think Vaea could do that in DA4, but not as a party companion. I think she should be a blue-ring ally on certain missions, and I think she should be romancible. Harding could already be romanced by the Inquisitor, and she's working for the cause of stopping Solas. I don't think she would have time for us. I think Dagna might be a better pick, and I think she would fall into the Tactician class. She would use magical items to fight. I think I would prefer Amethyne as a rogue companion. She would be in a disguise and work under a code-name, and her motive would be to find and free the elves who were taken to Tevinter during the events of Origins. Get your approval high enough with her and she will reveal her identity. Also romancible, and probably by both sexes. Calpernia is a must for a mage companion. Her backstory is already established and she is powerful politically and magically. If Vadis is known to the Dread Wolf, then that means she can't help directly. I think we should get a female qunari, but I think she should be a rogue and a Grey Warden. She should be an authentic Tal-Vashoth who rejected the Qun, ran away, was hunted and injured by the Ben-Hassrath, but managed to escape and was then recruited by the Grey Wardens because she had nowhere else to go. They taught her to fight. Fenris could be killed in DA2, or betrayed back to Denarius. Ramesh could be a good blue-right ally and show us the Thaigs, but I don't think he'd be that unique of a party companion. We've had a male Warden in every game, to varying degrees. I think a female tal-vasoth Warden would be better this time around. If we're going to get a skeleton, why not just bring back necromancy so our mages can summon them? Not sure about a mabari, but what about a mabari skeleton? An Executor could be good. Hard pass on any more elvhen though.
Very nice! The only thing I would rebutt, though, is Fenris as a returning companion. The main point is that Fenris CAN die in a world state. Now, they could pull a *lyrium ghost* like they did with Leliana who can also die in DAO. Personally it would feel cheap to me but I guess they could make it work.
That’s a possibility but then you have to ask who’s the person clinging on to her? Someone specific or a random person meant to represent a worshiper. I imagine whatever it is showing it must be an important moment. But since we don’t know too much about mythals death we can’t say if that’s what it’s showing quite yet.
tbh I really REALLY want to have Feynriel (from DA2) cameo in Tevinter if he's still alive and well and in that case, he did go to Tevinter to study further about his powers as a Dreamer) A side-but-also-impactful mission is to have him aid you in a heist-like rescue mission of whoever is left behind in the Fade (especially the person left behind is Hawke) but of course, if he became tranquil due being sent to the Circle or killing him in the Fade, the DA4 protagonist won't have that option
Dual Protagonist would be wonderful. If we somehow had the ability to import/create our Inquisitors in Tevinter Nights (similar to how you may edit the Hero of Fereldan's appearance in DAI), that would be next level immersion. And you know Bioware can definitely pull that off. Though I'm trying not to set the bar TOO high, especially given the company's recent track record.
Jack, I've recently been re-playing DAI, namely Jaws Of Hakkon. During JoH you picked up a codex called "The Hunt of the Fell Wolf", which describes Ameridan and Haron hunting down and slaying a giant beast which seems to be half spirit/half real. The two fight the beast separately (one fights the spirit form, one the beast form) and the creature is only killed when both spirit and beast are slain at once. I know there was some discussion about this codex when JoH first came out, but now, in light of the new information we have from Tevinther Nights, I wonder if you feel the same sense of foreboding upon re-reading it, as I do? xD I kind of think it's foreshadowing the next game; Solas now has a foot in both the fade and the real world, with his giant fade wolf - half beast, half spirit. Maybe the way to conquer him in the next game, is to defeat both his spirit and beast (man) self at once. I could imagine some kind of mish where the new protagonist and the inquisitor have to fight his aspects separately. . .
You should watch Saria's latest video, she talks about this very codex in relation to Tevinter Nights! She just made her video last week, it's perfect for you! th-cam.com/video/3DMpJ8JGEro/w-d-xo.html
My Lavellan is just waiting the right time to destroy Solas, she never liked him to be honest. Though, of course I am so hyped to try the new protagonist as well. The problem that I have is that unlike the Warden and even Hawke, the Inquisitor didn't have that flexibility to make them different, so I hope that the new protagonist has the chance to be as good, neutral, evil, etc, as you want. I am hyped, but it has been so many years, I have always found kind of ridiculous that when games are so related to each other (like Dragon Age), you have to wait more than 3 years to find what happened next, unlike a Final Fantasy for instance where every entry is independent from each other.
IKR, that's the sucker punch to all this content, we still have ages to wait... It'd be nice if we could just have a trailer or something, but no, the wait continues.
..... simply can't wait for Dragon Age 4 to arrive!! So much love Dragon Age inquisition game. I just started to play it again... played 3 times already... lol.. and on my 4th with an awsome Qunari female character ( duel-wield which is awsome) with a romance with Iron Bull of course ^^ So fuuuun!
This world seems stressful to live in xD I remember cullen saying "can't we go at least 10 years without something big happening" in inquisition and that is a mood
15:06 I also would like a world state were stan isn't the arashok. we have made decisions in origins so when stan doesn't got his sword and be with us he is save from the qun. (my hope)
I really think the main thing BioWare needs to do, is just build upon what inquisition was (gameplay wise I mean) my fave instalment in the series by a mile
I hope they break the new protagonist rule, trespasser ending makes it obvious the inquisitor is still in the race . How cool would it be to gain your abilities by making upgrades to your mechanical hand....since Sera's epilogue shows a multitool crossbow prostetic hand.
Just thought of something, do all of these stories take place after Inquisition? I know there are references to events that give a timeframe for most, but I was thinking about the Last Flight book..
Dragon Age Origins is SO good. We played through 2 trash sequels, hoping for a resemblance to the near perfection that is Origins, and hoping that the 4th in closer to DA:O than the other games.
I honestly have no idea but I really want an abomination protagonist - I just really want to be possessed by something! I am kinda worried about Solas, I don't know if anyone other than the Inquisitor can truely stop him but we'll see what happens. I really believe that Dorian will be a central character. The Qunari have to be involved somehow - most likely through an attempted invasion. I could theorize for hours but it would be quicker to just say "keep up the good work, Jack" so that is what I will say. Keep up the good work, Jack!
Scout Harding as a romance option: Isn't there a huuuge chance that she's married to Sera? Because the majority of players keep Sera in Inquisition + they romance other characters, like Solas, Cullen, or Cassie instead of Harding or Sera. So in "Trespasser", Sera's alone and gets married to our scout gal. Dog companion: I doubt there'll be one. We're not in Ferelden anymore, and I don't think any of the PCs will have any connection to Ferelden. So what about a dragon pet? Or a wolf?;) (Thanks again for making the vids! They're my main source of news on Dragon Age:))
On second thought... A mabari could be there. They're not exclusive to Ferelden actually. And I forgot about the one in the comics. Yes. There're plenty of ways you can bring one to the story of DA4.
another amazing vlog thanks JD 😁 so question to everyone, what play through will you attempt first redeem or destroy? i always do the 'good' play through first so i'm going to attempt the 'bad' first this time.
It's highly unlikely that the player would get to return as the Inquisitor since it's been the policy, so to speak, of the previous two games, NOT to have the protagonist return in a major capacity for the newest game. The Hero of Ferelden is only mentioned, if alive, in DAI and not seen at all in DA2. Hawke can be a part of a couple of quests in DAI but what with the Inquisitor having lost an arm, any active participation by the character would likely be limited to a cameo or just one or two minor quests. We'll most likely have brand new characters to choose from. And since the character is meant to be a hero, the spy and the treasure hunter don't seem like desirable heroes. I also have a problem viewing Tevinter as being a major player since the Qunari will be hitting them very hard after Trespasser and the hints in the epilogue were that the Imperium was not only caught offguard but ill-prepared for such fierce attacks. Sure, they might try to covertly flank around these attacks but in the 200 years that have passed, they haven't been able to successfully deal with them at all. I've done several runs of DAI over the years. Most of the time, I disbanded the Inquisition, reasoning that it was the safest way to deal with Solas' knowledge of its methods and people. Even if retained as a peace-keeping force, it would be drastically downsized and its power significantly reduced, probably to the point of no return. One last point I'd like to make is this. I think people are taking too literally what happened in DAI and fully expecting Dreadwolf to just pick up with the last game left off and run with it. This is BioWare and EA, after all, and I highly doubt that will happen. It will most likely be set several years in the future (since the events of Trespasser, that is) and by then, some characters from the previous games may have since died. I have my doubts that Dorian will appear because I have little confidence in his skills as a magister and even less in that his fellow magisters will look upon him as a peer or even have any respect or regard for him. I certainly don't believe he'd be a major player in Tevinter politics, again because he'd have so little clout, power or influence. He may act in some minor way as a contact or go-between but little else is likely. So, the same would be true for the Inquisitor. With one arm missing, an advisory position is likely to be the only role available but even then, it would likely be years after Trespasser so contact with the Inquisitor may be as skimpy as it was for the Hero of Ferelden or Hawke, brief and quite limited, despite either friendship or a romance having happened with Solas in DAI. This idea of "saving" or "stopping" Solas might just be superficial at best or a very minor detail as it would be up to the new protagonist to actually step up and try and prevent disaster from happening. A key thing I do believe that may happen is that we'll not likely having any playable characters or companions that we've had in previous games. Citing the comics and novels, even short stories, as source material for expanded development of the lore and DA universe is fine but I doubt they'd be the actual source material for the next game because not everyone likes to read novels or comics in order to be able to understand or play a video game. Hell, most players who got into DAI did so because it was accessible if you hadn't played the first two games. And die-hard gamers did play all three but the actual number of those that also relished the books and comics is still small. So picking potential characters as potential playable heroes in Dreadwolf from those sources would leave most players at a disadvantage. Besides, it would negate the idea of creating all new venues or opportunities to explore for the next story. Scout Harding never really did much for me, to be honest. And the idea of revisiting the Titans doesn't work either. We've touched on that already in The Descent. Yes, lots of unanswered questions but we're dealing with Solas and the Veil here and unless they can bring a very defined narrative that ties those two things together, it would feel forced and awkward to me. The Qunari as either an ally or protagonist wouldn't work either given I don't trust them at all. Never have, never will. Hated Sten. Distrusted Iron Bull to the point where I just stopped recruiting him and given their attempt at invading the South and later renewing attacks on Tevinter with gusto, I can't see myself playing as one or siding with them either. I did not want an alliance with the Qun to fight the Venatori and I sure wouldn't be looking to ally with them again in Dreadwolf.
I feel like we will 100 percent have to kill Solas. Which I don’t want to happen since he’s my favorite character in the dragon age franchise. I would love to redeem him, but I feel like that’s too easy and I feel this game will be dark and sad. I would love the option to side with Solas or go against him. So kinda like dark side and light side in KOTOR. I feel like there’s going to be lots of death. I’m soo ready for this game, but at the same, I’m not. Are you planning on reviewing the “Dragon Age 4 leak” file you said you might in a couple videos before?? Thanks for the videos!!
Redeem or Kill Solas? What are we thinking? Tell me some of your major predictions for Dragon Age 4!
Jackdaw I will redeem eggboy!
Some predictions:
-griffins, so we can fly over the map.
My Qunari merc who learned a lot about forgiveness and the moral complexities in the world: redeem him.
My Carta dwarf: traitors get the axe.
Crack the egg!
Redeem
I hope we can redeem him, and that redemption also means no dying? Please?? xD
If Fenris was a companion, I genuinely think I'd pee myself with excitement. If not a companion, then he defo needs to show up anyway, he has to!
Lol
He died for me in da2 though, think its not uncommon to have him die at the end of 2
I will always vote for the dual protagonist game. Lavellan deserves a real conclusion to her story.
Assuming you play female Lavellan of course lol. I personally think it's the definitive way to play Inquisition.
I would be surprised if they didn't add a mage that betrays you/has an ulterior motive (Morrigan, Anders, Solas) bc at this point i'm expecting it
The Ex-Saarebas ends up being a Loyal Qunari Ben-Hassrath Agent betraying you if you're against the Qun.
I think they might make it a different class this time, maybe a warrior or rogue. Like Fenris!
I think Viv will reappear to stab the inquisitor in the back. She was just too power hungry.
Morrigan never betrayed anyone though, or had any ulterior motive.
The one who might betray you in Origins is Zevran.
First! Congratulations Jack and Saria on getting married!
Can't wait to see their kid making DA7 theory videos.
@@flamesofchaos13 Let's hope the developers remain competent enough with the story so we can make it to DA7.
@@flamesofchaos13 LMAO
What I'd like to see is my gray warden Cousland in Weisshaupt reunited with her romantic interest, Leliana. It would be nice to see them actually walk off into the sunset together to live out their lives after a final victory here.
I’m a simple Dragon Age fan: I hear mention of Sandal, I flip out.
Ngl, I’m gonna have a tiny riot if they don’t add the option of find healing potions when looting things
I actually think that Merril has a high chance of returning as a companion considering that her plotline intersects with Solas' in many ways.
I believe our next player character will be either a Tevinter slave, or a Lord of Fortune. Solas doesn’t have the idol yet and it’s still out there in the world.
Very good origin ideas!
Really hope that the dark fantasy will be amazing in DA4 which going by tevinter night will be amazing.
Agreed! Here's hoping it's dark and spooky!!
I hope Bioware hires you Jack😄
I want to see Vaea as a companion! Let her be romance-cable too!
Yas! Please BW!
And of course the + 1 is varric romanceble (i want to kick bianca in the ass.)
That make
I'd like to see one of the Elven Gods pitted against Solas.
Can you imagine Fenris if he was the DA2 romance and you chose Hawke for the fade??? 😭
Heartbreaking!
... loooved Fenris ❤️
The world state I'm planning on using for DA4, if that's still a possibility, I left my Fenris romanced Hawke in the fade... >.>
Really hope the inquisitor and solas can get some sort of satisfying ending...not involving death...please.. ;_;
He is too deep of a character and too great a romance to just kill off.
I very much agree! Throw a bone to your Solavellan's BioWare!
Solas and Lavellan is one of my favourite romances too. So, count me in to the "Solavellan"-lovestory 😍😍😍
He'll probably sacrifice him self in some way
@@hasogon there's been enough of that. I already mourned Kylo Ren's sacrifice. Honestly, if they do that crap I'll be so pissed. Let's see a redeemed villain live with the consequences for once.
A villain being redeemed and surviving is very rare
I hope to see Morrigan in the next dragon age :(
Oh me too!! She needs to come back! Maybe even as a companion!
Yes! I would also love to see Leliana again!
@@victormota1530 Leliana must be at least mentioned, since she would play a huge part if you chose her as Divine.Specially considering she completely changed the entire religion to her own personal liking.
@@SolarWaves37221 Yes! Definetely! I miss Origins's Leliana so much :(
Hope they force Alistair out of his Castle too. I miss Morrigan and Alistaire arguing. Haha!
The Lords of Fortune are mentioned enough times in the book that I definitely think they will have a significant part to play. I thought the stories were brilliant and have super hyped me up for the game!
Saria’s latest video and this one are sooo good!!! Man I cannot wait for the next game 😭
Aw thank you so much!! I'll let Saria know you love her video!
Wake me when DA4 comes out Da'len *Enters Uthenera*
Hey you ever notice how Solas has a mug hanging from his bag when you meet him (until you switch his armor).. @Jackdaw you think it's his coffee mug?!.. maybe that's why he hates tea! 🤔
I wonder if the game will be about finding and stoping solas or it will start with the vail to open and we have to find how to deal with the problems that goes with it and in doing so trying to find him to help/ punching him in the face for his actions...
Very good point! What if the veil is already destroyed by the prologue of DA4!?
@@JackdawYT I doubt that. Unless Bethesda wants to go super dark and kill 85% of the population of Thedas, because Solas flat out said a *lot* of people work die when the veil comes down. Whether they're incinerated by the magic they suddenly have but can't control or are killed by demons, the result is the same.

@@TheKolboShow Right, right. been playing Skyrim a lot lately.
( I know the qunari part is a bit of a stretch but would love to know more about them! ).
I think one of those Darkspawn Magesters like the Architect or Corephues would be a good companion.
I think that's a good shout!
I'd love to see that!! We need the Inqy and Solas to reunite! Thank you so much for watching!
Jackdaw no thank you! For making dragon age videos to keep us going until a new game. Much appreciated!
Aw thank you so much for your kind words, that's why I do it! I really appreciate it!
S K yeah, with Inky being the final boss
I have a feeling they'll die well before that. The common theme among Dragon Age protagonists is that you are thrust into a position of leadership. Kind of hard to feel like a leader with your boss right behind you.
I definitely think we will play as a lord of fortune. Cuz a group of warriors of all races known for fighting and dungeon diving for that sweet sweet loot definitely sounds like a player character. Plus it would make it easier since they wouldn’t have to make dedicated origin sequences for each race.
I hope we can choose an origin
I hope they double down on Leliana being a lyrium ghost. Maybe she was an Executor sleeper agent this whole time because Tinfoil is fun
They should just GTA5 it
It's Dragon Age, I see no situation in which the Inquisitor is the protagonist. At best, the new M.C. will join the Inquisition as a spy or something, we'll do a few missions for the Inquisitor, then about halfway through the story, they'll die and we'll have to finish what they started.
@@stevenhiggins3055 If that's the case, they lost me as a customer. That's just awful on multiple levels.
Weirdly enough, I would be more into seeing the Warden confront Sten than Inquisitor confront Solas.... I know it won’t happen but it would be cool. 🤔
Also, I wanna romance an Executor. I am sure it would go over without any heartbreak.
LOL!
If I don't get one single Fenris/Solas interaction I'm rioting
How about Shale? she is in Tevinter, right?
Maybe as a day 1 DLC, that would be hilarious
Does not kill doesn't mean bad in RPG/tactical games.
cc (stuns, sleeps,slows...)
Healing (magic or not)
Utility (bonus inventory slots, smokes bombs, spell distrupting, parades, blocking, cut down arrows in splinters... there is room to build an amazing character in and out fights)
Perfect way to remedy Vaea as a companion!
I imagine Solas will end up dying but his essence will end up joining with Anders ..... And for the people asking about 'My Hawke killed him that did not matter for Lelliana.

Love the companion speculation, here Is a tinfoil hat question for you-- given the teased return of the Evanuris, do you think it is at all possible we could develop an "enemy of my enemy" relationship with one of these evanuris and have them become a companion? Is this too crazy?
I think we’ll have to join forces with Solas to put them down
The scene at 7:49 with the mage in the blue magic... how do I experience that scene? I’ve replayed the game so many times and never saw it.
Could someone tell me which quest the scene at 08:10 is from? My memory is failing me.
It's a Calpernia quest! So you'll need to side with the Templar's and follow Leliana's quest-line to save Calpernia. You'll come across this mission to find her Magister, which is the mage in the blue shield!
Dang, we do need a bard character 💞💞💞
I really hope to see Morrigan, mainly because she has if not the biggest motive to go after Solas after all he killed Flemeth...
Morrigan had a strange relationship with her mother but in the previous games we found that she in the end had changed her mind towards Flemeth after finding out the truth about how she transfers to her daughters.
Moreoever, I feel even bold to say it that she might even be involved in the final confrontation with Solas.
She wanted Flemeth dead in Origins lol
Let's hope there will be origin stories and different starts like in Dragon Age Origins. An origin story where you start as a Tevinter slave would definitely give an interesting start to the game. (both interaction and storytelling wise)
I've been looking up and watching videos about Assassin's Creed since I woke up this morning. I guess taking a break to watch a Dragon Age would do my brain some good. Also congrats on getting married.

That'd be epic!!
I think
Rogues
Charter- Leliana's protégé, will either be playable or serve as a Inquisition Leliana role.
Harding
Zevran- Highly likely to return in some form with the Antivan storyline
Bianca Davri- Will possibly play a bigger role.
Mages:
Maevaris- Will be a companion or serve as an advisor
Rhys: From Asunder, the original rebel mage.
Warriors
Evangeline- From Asunder,
Fenris,
Krem from the Chargers
Sutherland from the Inquisition
Weirdly want to see sera return with the red jennies. Maybe as a faction to win over and her acting as a faction leader offering insight on solus sense her and solus had very unique dialog.
also just image sera and fenris dialog if they both become campaigns lmao
I wanna share my companion roster. I have been toying around with it for a while, want to jot it down so that I can look back at it later and see how right or wrong I was. Probably there are slots that are going to be filled will all new characters, but teambuilding is fun, so here it goes.
Mages:
A Mortalitasi: Myrna, the necromancer - I considered Sidony, but I want to go with the absolute minimum companions that Solas may know (and that's Harding)
A Dalish: Irelin, the shapeshifter - Merrill would be relevant too, but she can end up in a pretty unfavourable situation in DA2. We need a hedge mage, who can betray us and who better than an elf who can be Solas's double agent.
A Tevinter: Vadis or Myrion but I really like the saarebas idea too - also, I'd like the inclusion of Myrion as a Tevinter mage from low-birth to counter the Southern stereotype that all Tevinter mages are magisters
Rogues:
Harding - Lace is the ace, obviously.
Warriors (here's when I'm really uncertain):
A Templar from Minrathous: maybe Knight Templar Rana Savas
A Grey Warden or a Carta dwarf bruiser/smuggler: I want to say Evka, but pretty sure that's not gonna happen.
I’m probably a million miles off but I think this could be an interesting twist:
Mythal joined Flemeth to get around modern thedas, maybe Fen Harel did the same to Solas?

This would lend a lot of replay-ability to the game, and maybe change what your base camp looks like in each
Lol hankypanky that almost killed me I spit out my drink lol hahaha
My thought "we're all gonna die"
Expect the worst and hope for the best.
Loved it. I'm interested in what you think is happening with the wardens.
Does the weird crown thing on the red lyrium idol remind anyone else of the crown that mythal is depicted wearing? or is that just me
Aye! I think it's Mythal! But what the heck is it showing? Her death?
That’s a possibility but then you have to ask who’s the person clinging on to her? Someone specific or a random person meant to represent a worshiper. I imagine whatever it is showing it must be an important moment. But since we don’t know too much about mythals death we can’t say if that’s what it’s showing quite yet.
Don't mind Steve he's just my emotional support corpse
tbh I really REALLY want to have Feynriel (from DA2) cameo in Tevinter if he's still alive and well
and in that case, he did go to Tevinter to study further about his powers as a Dreamer)
A side-but-also-impactful mission is to have him aid you in a heist-like rescue mission of whoever is left behind in the Fade
(especially the person left behind is Hawke)
but of course, if he became tranquil due being sent to the Circle or killing him in the Fade, the DA4 protagonist won't have that option
Maeveris Tilani as a mage companion!
That would be great, but I feel she'll be an adviser with Dorian!
I stan this
Dual Protagonist would be wonderful.
I know there was some discussion about this codex when JoH first came out, but now, in light of the new information we have from Tevinther Nights, I wonder if you feel the same sense of foreboding upon re-reading it, as I do? xD
I kind of think it's foreshadowing the next game; Solas now has a foot in both the fade and the real world, with his giant fade wolf - half beast, half spirit.

@@JackdawYT cool!
They would be good to play as the inquisitior at first up to a story point then he/she goes missing and the new guy has to find out what happened
..... simply can't wait for Dragon Age 4 to arrive!!
Or a wolf?;)
(Thanks again for making the vids! They're my main source of news on Dragon Age:))

Please bring back Harding!
Yess please
I really dont want a skeletal slave in DA. I mean when in Tevinter do as the Vints but that'd be pretty uncomfortable
"Hey!" :) You have a some interesting ideas. They had a super original plan "choplin?" but that was scrapped. Maybe they went back to that?
“Hanky-panky...” 😂😂😂
