This is so cool. I went to Madagascar for two months last October to do some volunteer work on the plague outbreak. Like always I took my skateboard with me because ist guarantees good times while traveling. There was no skating there yet but i tried to do some flatground tricks on the basketball court and had an amazing time with the locals. All of them were super stoked because they had never seen a skateboard and were amazed by simple ollies and kickflips or even just powerslides. Glad that you shared this nice experience! keep up the good work.

I actually have a desire to travel and see things and meet people in the search for new or historic skate spots...that drive gets you out into cities exploring places you might never see and people you may never encounter if you were just going as a tourist.
