      The way it should be. Just to piss off the safety nazis. What is the gun going to do to me as the viewer if they have an accidental discharge? Nothing except make for some great comedy.

    The comments about Fitzy quite possibly could have stemmed from the “Are LPVO’s Dead” podcast.
    Love the content, guys. Keep it up

    Thanks for the vid! I watched your LPVO on bolt guns video and some of your other optics vids and decided to try some for myself. I bought 3 different LPVOs on black Friday and im really looking forward to testing them out!

    Really liking the Trijicon tenmile 4-24 and credo 2.5-15 I picked up recently. Couldn't pass up for the 850 to 900 sale price range I paid. Not ffp, but illuminated, nice glass, built solid but not outrageously heavy.
    Always loved leupolds but bought them to replace couple of vx3's when I started noticing impact shift issues.

    As someone who has bought from Sightmark to Vortex Razor HD, I agree with the old saying, buy once, cry once. The High End stuff is worth the money, as is with most things. I will say though, getting to somewhere, like a big box store, to physically hold in your hand and look through the scope, can help a good bit. Everyone has not only different eyes, but also different needs out of the optic. Don't be silly and try to use a LPVO, if you plan on shooting out too far, especially if your blind like me, lol! I personally love Vortex Razor HD line, but that's my eyes and personal opinion. Do the research, find a store that has a huge selection, and try to keep in mind the bigger the main body tube, it will help with clarity and eye relief. I like 34mm tubes, but that's not to say that a 30mm tube won't be good enough for you. Another thing to try to do, make buddies at the range, look through other's glass, if they'll let you. I promise you, Wade is spot on, don't expect $2500 quality, out of a $500 scope, but that doesn't mean that $500 scope isn't good enough for you, and your application. If your shooting below 500 yds, then go with the lower power scopes.

    How much did Leupold pay you for this?
    The Mark V is a great choice ONLY if hunting. There are 15-20 better long range/PRS/ELR scopes compared to the Mark V. I want the Mark V for my Elf Owl bc I want it light in weight.
    ZCO, TT, Zeiss S5 or S3, Leica, March, Valdada, Minox, Kahles
    Others on the level of Mark V: NF Athlon Cronus, Tract Toric, Maven RS4, Delta Stryker, Sightron VIII
    By the way.....best $1000 LPVO is the Athlon Eres

    Just a opinion but if scopes get warranty most buy rings if you spend 1000 on a scope they should have good rings they trust with them

    • @REDNECKROOTS
      @REDNECKROOTS ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Monstrum actually is pretty good for the money. I've used several ffp long distance scopes and there spot on turrets always zero. Always track true. Also run a straight power prisim etched retical on my ar. No issues

    • @kirkmartin2223
      @kirkmartin2223 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Vortex has some cheap stuff. But honestly if you buy a $100 optic and it craps out and you have to buy another $100 optic you would have been better off buying a $250 optic the first time once you figure in ammo needed to re-zero the 2nd optic. Scopes are a buy once cry once item for the most part.

    • @jonathandavis7810
      @jonathandavis7810 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @johncollins1958 ok, nice! I'll give it a shot on my budget bolt gun build in 6mm Creedmoor.

      @kirkmartin2223 and I get that I just fell bad for putting high end glass on a beater hunting rifle that's gonna get bumped around on the 4 wheeler and in the back of the truck lol

    • @kirkmartin2223
      @kirkmartin2223 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@jonathandavis7810 I understand that 100%. The more expensive optics are generally more robust. Athlon and arken make some dang decent scopes for under $500 that are great for banging around in a can-am. Leopold and vortex do as well. In my opinion the biggest jump in "bang for your buck" is going from a $250 optic to a $500 optic. My next purchase will be another MKV

    Guns and scopes are very subjective from person to person. Take every review with a large grain of salt.
