    I appreciate the interviews from other agents to talk about their experience. Insurance agents have so many products to offer people, failure is not an option.

    I’m studying for the exams and these videos are nice because they hit on all the things I’m thinking about but don’t want to fear. I learned that selling is just a ton of HARD WORK and endurance.

    Self care is the most important thing when doing sales. Days off and time with your family gives your soul what it needs to recoup. Also it gives your mind time to process the coming weeks in your sales month.

    Thoroughly enjoyed the video. I’m currently a fully licensed producer at State Farm Insurance. I’m not sure if I should pursue an agent agreement with them or branch out on my own. I don’t want the struggle without the reward.

    Hey David. Thanks for making these videos to share about newer agents experiences. I am also new to the field of insurance. I am currently a broker in Maryland and wanted to ask about buying leads. I'm in a bit of situation with my finances so i'm picking up a part time job to help. But where would you suggest I purchase them from?

    • @TheDIGAgency

      Hi Nathanael - I'd look at leadjerk.com or tipstricksandclosers.com for both telemarketing and Facebook lead options.

    I read a story, I THINK from Napoleon Hill's "Think and Grow Rich" about a man during the gold rush who ran dry in his mine. He closed the mine and sold the machinery for scrap. The guy who bought the scrap had the mine inspected by geologists, who said there should still be gold there. He found the previous owner stopped mining just THREE FEET from where the vain started again. So I decided to "DON'T STOP THREE FEE FROM GOLD!!"

    I'm new to this so please forgive my ignorance. But I would think that Obama care would be good for the insurance business if your selling something that they have to buy? I'm confused

    • @TheDIGAgency
      @TheDIGAgency  5 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      You would think that but in my opinion it isn't. Main reason is that the insurance companies eliminated commissions. Literally, there were insurance companies 5 years back that completely eliminated commissions for agents. I talked to several at the time that lost hundreds of thousands in annual income because of ACA. If you like health insurance, Medicare is a much better market.

    Speaking of the Democratic Party.... if they win in 2020, and do happen to push through a universal health care bill, what does that do to insurance profession? And the US economy?

    • @larryl212

      It implodes!!! I live in SoCal. We're paying upwards to $5/Gal at the pump. Massive sales taxes. Massive income taxes. Illegals voting in General Elections. CA is now no more than the Northern Colony for Latin America... Mexico specifically. And as for "Medicare for ALL." Single payer is now being pushed hard by the Socialists in Sacramento. And since the Republican Party has no presence in the state... single payer will happen sooner than later. Trump is a mere respite... a noisy pause... on our way to a "leftist nirvana." REMEMBER... what starts in CA ends up all over the Country. I hope I'm wrong. “History doesn't repeat itself but it often rhymes.”(Mark Twain?)

      It will never pass the Senate. The candidates are appealing to the very far left to win the primary. But once a democrat becomes President, all that gets bogged down. The same on both parties. All the far left or far right promises get bogged down and forgotten.

    • @MelissaDHall
      @MelissaDHall 5 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      phil vogt it will be horrible. The government does not have the capacity to manage everyone’s health care.

    • @TheDIGAgency
      @TheDIGAgency  5 ปีที่แล้ว +7

      Who knows. Keep in mind that Medicare is "Universal Healthcare For 65+" and there is still a huge market for Medicare Supplements and Advantage plans.
      Best thing to do is not to worry too much, go all in on whatever you do, and be ready to pivot when the tide turns.
      When Obamacare was passed, smart healthcare agents pivoted to selling Medicare, especially when commissions were drastically reduced.
      Like Madonna, we have to change with the times if we wish to remain relevant. =)
