This arrangement is a masterpiece. I have a very strong emotional attachment to the Shenandoah, and would dearly like to have the notation for it, if there is any way that I can obtain it, so that I may play it myself.
Makes sense to change the opening melody like Keith does to a pentatonic, otherwise you have a fourth in the melody on the tonic chord. When I hear it on guitar it’s confirmed: is musical and tasteful. Great use of tone, dynamics, octaves in the melody!, inner voices, phrasing….

I never read music. I just figured out the basic cords, not even in order, listen to it on TH-cam, took me 6 months to dial in in were people recognize it. Been in 3 band cant read music at all u know.
