DIY MAGNETIC BASE UMBRELLA.

This video will save you alot of money by building your own adjustable magnetic bade umbrella to use on hvac or mechanic work.
I build this wirh about 25 dollars, as a bonus I show how I clamp my water thermo with a diy clamp system.

for the problem with keeping the umbrella in place, what if you drill a hole through both the base shaft and umbrella shaft, then stick a "cotterless" pin through it? the pin that has a keyring on one end to pull on, and a little detent ball on the other end to keep it from falling out of the pin hole. could even drill multiple holes to select different heights with the pin
