Your lips look AMAZING. I had my first session last Monday. I don't have any pigmentation problems I just wanted my lips to be permanetly brighter. I personally found it uncomfortable and my lips were huge after the first session. The swelling went completely by day 3 and they peeled by day 5. I'm on day 6 and my lips are unattractively dark almost black but my beautician told me what to expect and she is black and has years of experience (she also tatoo'ed my eyebrows) so I trust her and I'm just riding out the healing process.

My lips looked jet black/ burnt and I almost regretted getting it done, now my lips are almost pink and I'm very very happy with how they look.

You are allowed to drink but eith a straw!You need to be hydrated are the healing will not be as it should.Also you need to apply aquaphor every 3hours or whenever you feel like the lips start to dry up.

I have the opposite prob, I had a car accident and burns on my face 20years ago (white girl) I have alot of hyperpigmentation and raised bumps due to scar tissue and my lip lines are non existent BTW girl your lips were gorgeous but glad you did something that made you happy. I just wonder how long these cosmetic tatts last

My beautician repeatedly applied numbing cream after every pass, so I never felt anything. So, ladies, ask your beautician to do that.

It’s not good to apply numbing because too much creme prevents the pigment from showing the true colour

Yeah I was told to completely avoid water, and yup moisture is definitely key 🫶🏾 I was given vitamin e oil to put on my lips

It hasn’t been a year for me yet but it’s slowly approaching and the results are still there ☺️ x

Actually it's not the opposite problem as my lips are hyperpigmented just not as perfectly symmetric as your natural lips
