There will for sure be more Ferrers and Thiems, maybe they will be born in an era where they can win slams due to lack of competition, but it can never be said they are at Nadal’s level if they never face off
Tell me who else is gonna win THAT many more French opens. No one, nadal is so unique and clay court lvl is beyond a joke and because hes a lefty let alone being amberdextrous, it wont happen
this guy will able to be, he has fantastic skill, without any poor shot. Everything is great. He is 16 yo only... for me the best world talent. Watching now his match with Alberto Ramos with sleepy eyes when I read in draw he got wild card in Rio tournament. Really fantastic guy, tennis need this guys after big 3 era..
Nobody will be another Nadal. But he certainly is going to be the next Spanish superstar. Amazing player being coached by the legend Juan Carlos Ferrero.
The Nadal comparisons come only because he’s Spanish. Truthfully, his game style reminds me of a young Federer. His movement, aggression, and groundstrokes.
Very nice video presentation of 16 year-old Carlos Alcaraz. He has a marvelous family and coach, that's for sure. His humility-particularly in tennis-is much appreciated. Two nice places: Murcia and (just outside) Alicante where I studied guitar in Franco's era.

He needs to improve his serve. he has a good backhand and a very good forehand, and he is good at the net (which is rare in young players today), but his serve could hold him back (fortunately for him his return to serve is pretty good). Anyway, what impressed me more is his attitude on court, he can be losing clearly that he doens't surrender and keeps fighting. The comparissions with Nadal are absurd (even they have some things in common) because not even Nadal at his age could hold that type of comparission (Nadal was probably the most sure top player you can watch at a young age but nobody expected him to be that good outside of clay in his younger days and not even in his wildest dreams nobody expect him to dominate Roland Garros in such tiranic way)

yes this guy is interesting with Kuhn (hope he will able to be better yet), coach of both is just Juan Carlos. I heard about him when he won against Hanfmann. In 15yo against player top 100. Incredible..And three sets against Rosol, Moelleker, Caruso, Sinner huh perfect thing in 15yo..two time win with Pedro Martinez. Good luck! This guy maybe new legend if he will go on. I hope this season will be better yet even if 16yo guy :) And he will be good not only clay court like Rafa or Juan Carlos
@@sergiosanchez4940 this Carlos will be succesful on every surface I think so cause he has technical quality - killing serve, backhand, very good forehand, strong mentality.
