Because in your 8th year, you should have a good relationship with your counselor because I think they require a counselor recommendation. Also make sure your teachers write really good recommendation letters. If you have a passion for something, make sure you really let that show in your essays, too. The test scores for the SSAT won't really matter if they see your passion and dedication through your essays, recommendations, portfolio, etc. Instead of writing a dry profile filled with a list of accomplishments, you should intertwine those accomplishments in a way that shows your values, passion, and thirst for knowledge, which is what the admissions officers want to see. Hello, if a student who wants to join college in the united States and wasn't able to perform well at his or her A level final exams, if the students takes the SAT exam and pass them. Does it help on joining college in America beside the matter of fact that the A level results aint certifying?
Yeah, if you dont have good grades, taking the sat and subject tests are a great way to show you are able to handle higher level courses despite bad grades before.
@@swaggamuffin2171 I googled a couple of colleges. But in my country the next SAT dates are on 13th March next year, and I found that most colleges stop receiving sat documents on 1st March. So what options do I have please?
@@isaacpestpreacher5175 yeah uhhhh none really, theres an sat tomorrow but you cannot register for it now. Most colleges will understand though that people were not able to take an sat because of the corona virus. Even ivy league schools like princeton are making an sat score optional
