I know this is quite random to say, but does anyone remember how Timmy once wished for he and his fairies to switch places and so he became a fairy himself? Since all fairies have an Anti-Fairy counterpart, you don't think it's possible for that, even for a brief moment, an Anti-Fairy version of Timmy appeared? Probably not but I'm just curious.
Anti Timmy: Oh boy I can’t wait to better the lives of the people assigned to help me with my wonderful life. I can’t wait to be a completely normal person and not be literally the worst child ever and give my found family severe PTSD with my antics
That's why the show's downfall hurts. This show had such bizarrely consistent worldbuilding when it was good only for it to get flushed when they added more crap and screwed over Da Rules.
I think the number of fairies a child gets only depends on how bad their life is. The fact that Timmy got FOUR fairies instead of the usual two really points out how troubling his life is, and throughout the season, Timmy got two more fairies to make his wishes come true. What I'm trying to say is that Timmy's life has been getting worse through each season, so bad in fact that only having two fairies wasn't gonna cut it. In a nutshell, Timmy basically has an whole family of fairies living with him now, with a pet fairy dog as a bonus.
2:45 You are very correct with Timmy’s dad, the fact that he was designed after his voice actor Darren Norris meant that he got to reprise his role in the live action movies and is the best part.
I have a Pixies theory. There's actually just 2 Pixies (that we see), and the reason that most of the ones we see look like Sanderson is because he's doing all the work under the head pixie, moving so fast that he creates after images, while the head pixie doesn't do much work. There are pixies that look different than the two, but the pixie company didn't pay well enough to hire people, so Sanderson has to fill in, and we only see him and the head pixie.
Honestly im just sad about how they essaintly got rid of anti-cosmo and anti-wanda when foop came into the picture..these two were peak romance no show could achive
And ending that could have been interesting for the show, which would have required a lot of planning, was timmy still losing his fairies but due to him being a hero in some cases, like with the Wishology trilogy (I think a memory wipe happened at the end so thats what I mean by planning), Cosmo and Wanda still got to watch over him like guardian angels almost. That way Timmy still grows up, probably forgetting about his faries, and having a good life, but at the time the faries are still there to make sure things go well.
You got to talk about the lore said in the Wishology trilogy where ancient fairy warriors battle this black hole eldritch entity that summons robots with black hole mouths. And that the stars in the FOP universe are actually fairy warriors watching out for this entity.
Fairly Oddparents are one of my Favorite Nickelodeon Cartoons growing up and I'm glad that it's exploring the Deep Lore it has and many others forget,i love this Video so good work.
Woo someone talked about this! This shows lore is what helped me be more interested in show as I grew up (aside from the colorful style and comedy) Felt a little off as the seasons reached double-digits tho..
6:04, it’s since Cosmo and Wanda divided their magic evenly between each other when they married so it wouldn’t make sense for him to have one but not the other
Honestly the only flaw is, The Anti Fairies and especially the Pixies are too strong compared to the fairies. It doesn’t make sense for the 3 factions to be in a Cold War, when one of them is so weak they can easily be conquered by the other two. Especially when the Anti Faires and Pixies never even consider invading each-other, which is what two superpowers would do in that scenario. Timmy *Hard* carries Fairy World to victory. without them either Anti Cosmo or HP would be the ruler of Fairy World by the time the show takes place. Since Timmy only had fairies for a year or two (meaning everything we see happens in roughly that timeframe), it really brings into question just how they were still independent before they found Timmy, and supposedly millenniums after that.
Awesome video! Fairly Oddparents has a lot of worldbuilding that I appreciate and love, though I will admit that it starts to contradict and fold in on itself in the later seasons For example, there's several episodes early on that involve someone unwishing someone else's wish, but then in Season 10 a rule is added that you can't unwish another godchild's wish And there's the inconsistency of when a child loses their fairies, first it's when they're too old to believe in fairies (typically 18 as shown in a special) but then it's changed to 11 years old? Damn, I feel really bad for the kid that got a fairy only a few days before their 11th birthday XD And there's the times where something is added to Da Rules or the lore out of thin air to make a conflict for that specific episode (the episode where it's revealed that the Big Wand recharges every Friday sticks out to me, especially when it was previously established that it needs to stay plugged in to be powered) I suppose it's a product of the writers over the years not being able to keep up with all the lore and continuity that was slowly built up, which makes sense when your show runs for over a decade or so. Nevertheless, great analysis!!
I think Timmy having two fairies is due to his parents OR the fact that Cosmo and Wanda could be deemed incompetent. Like maybe they were assigned together because they both weren’t good enough on their own. I also could see it based on how much a child needs them in a broad sense. Like Timmy gets his fairies because his life sucks, but due to his personality of being a selfish jerk that is why he is made to share with not trixie (Chloe). Maybe they were grouped together in order to improve timmys life by making him a better person.
I figured you’d talk about him being 60 and the secret wish and how that impacted the way the show unfolded and what Timmy did in the whole 50 years of being a child
Well, Fairy World is described as heaven and Anti-Fairy World is described as hell. So technically, fairies ARE angels or gods, and anti-fairies ARE demons or imps.
oh we're talking about kids shows with surprisingly deep lore. 4 words man Thomas the Tank engine you'd be surprised how much lore is there in the 28 years the TV show ran and I the 75+ years the Railway series existed
I thought he got two fairies bc Cosmo and Wanda needed to be together and not so much about Timmy. And then Poof is just their baby so it makes since that he'd be there all the time. I stopped watching around Foop's introduction tho
You didn’t breakdown anything, you basically just dropped quotes and explained that you found them hilarious, and there’s such interesting tidbits to all of them, for example pixies actually have their own anti variant, only ever referenced once in a game for the GBA, or the Fact that anti fairy’s have their own rule book and council. There’s a ton of lore, history, and tidbits that the creators wrote and could’ve been fun to explore, so much potential in this video
In the live action movie Fairly Odd Christmas. It is established that Elf's and Fairly's don't get along. What they did with them in that movie is really good in my opinion. Plus that guy how plays Crocker is funny as hell and amazing.
Don’t ask me how long I spent researching the lore of this kids show
Its sad you only got 3.4k views
HOW LONG?!?
How long did you spend
are you the timmy turner from fairly oddparents 😗😘😘😘

What happened to Anti-Cosmo and Anti-Wanda then?
Anti Timmy:
Oh boy I can’t wait to better the lives of the people assigned to help me with my wonderful life. I can’t wait to be a completely normal person and not be literally the worst child ever and give my found family severe PTSD with my antics
They did that in the Reboot A New Wish.
Yes. In the now show hazel got a anti fairy when she turned into a fairy
Bro predicted the future
That's why the show's downfall hurts.

You forgot to mention the fairies' weakness being butterfly net. I use to think that shit was so clever as a kid.

I wish they had Anti-Wanda and Anti-Cosmo and Foop be together more as an evil family together, that would've been cute to see
And ending that could have been interesting for the show, which would have required a lot of planning, was timmy still losing his fairies but due to him being a hero in some cases, like with the Wishology trilogy (I think a memory wipe happened at the end so thats what I mean by planning), Cosmo and Wanda still got to watch over him like guardian angels almost. I watched fairly odd parents as a kid and it oddly enough has a lot of lore to it
I know right?

@@RyanBeane Your welcome my Friend.

The lore is so good!
6:04, it’s since Cosmo and Wanda divided their magic evenly between each other when they married so it wouldn’t make sense for him to have one but not the other
This is one of the most interesting things I’ve seen and I never even thought about how deep this was
I’m glad people agree with me

The Pixies are the best. I do not know why, yet the fact that they occupied a whole World and enslave Jorgen is impressive
14:10 just started watching your channel and I'm already promoted to lieutenant in a battalion I didn't even know existed
today really is a good day
That is good news!

Don't forget that the Pixies go hard when they rap!
FINALLY SOMEONE WHO DOESNT HATE POOF AND FOOP
the lore is why it would make for a great series of books
Great video! Very well made, I have always loved this show and it’s lore
Thanks so much!
@Ryan Beane 3:13 Her name’s Chloe Carmichael.

y'know what? take my sub, you deserve it for selling your soul to paramount to cover a dead tv show
Thank you for your charitable donation
I figured you’d talk about him being 60 and the secret wish and how that impacted the way the show unfolded and what Timmy did in the whole 50 years of being a child
I’m surprised the fact they did not add demons, angels, hell, and heaven and other gods

Your really dope hope you blow bro !!keep up the grind
Thanks so much bro!
1:41 That’s not fair to the clowns.

Thank you!
Channel Chasers was basically Fairly Oddparents finale.
Man dude you derseve way more subs and views you than you get this is some high quality stuff right here.
Thank you dude
This is definitely worth a revisit someday
You should look into timmy's secret wish in one episode it was revealed he wished for everyone to stay the same age for the past 50 years
You didn’t breakdown anything, you basically just dropped quotes and explained that you found them hilarious, and there’s such interesting tidbits to all of them, for example pixies actually have their own anti variant, only ever referenced once in a game for the GBA, or the Fact that anti fairy’s have their own rule book and council. 6:51 who is this, I don’t get it
Maybe the only small lore in spongebob may be “the war” stated in the krusty krab training video
They should make a crossover of the Fairly OddParents and T.U.F.F. Puppy.
In the live action movie Fairly Odd Christmas. It is established that Elf's and Fairly's don't get along. What they did with them in that movie is really good in my opinion. Plus that guy how plays Crocker is funny as hell and amazing.
Odd parents lore is gonna be the new ArcadeAssasian meme lol
Also fun fact one of cosmo and Wanda’s fairy godchildren took out franz Ferdinand causing ww1
if thats the case I think Kid Brucs Wayne had fairys all the time
That is true
The fairly odd parents is so awesome
Pff- you should look into My Little Pony lore; demons, slavery, racism, multiple wars- and that's not even looking into the comics
Video starts at 4:45
Ben Ten Omniverse had some difficulty with its story telling sometimes but moments like that battle dude
