It's likely because it was mostly written by Justin and Ben/Ali hated Justin around this time since he wanted Ali to stop rapping and play guitar instead for the next album after MFZB. The band has never really denied this is why Justin was kicked out of the band but since they have never denied it it's likely true.
If you look to the close right where Ben is standing during Rescue Me, you can faintly see someone else playing the second guitar. It took me a bit to notice that but it's really cool!
As for me, Justin had the best voice, suitable for many styles of music they played, so... sad, that Matt would never sound so awesome. And, of course, Justin's perfomance was incredible...

Imo all Justin era songs that were sung by Justin himself are just waay better than when Matty/Adrian did. Not that Matty or Adrian were bad. But in Especially the most shows they did with Justin he was just something else.
