Trains at Weybridge, SWML - 17th April 2024

- Hello and welcome to my Subscribers and to those who are new who are visiting my channel to watch my latest video.
On Wednesday 17th April, I went to Weybridge station which is situated on SWML.
Overall thought it's good station, not better then West Byfleet & Byfleet & New Haw, but it's decent enough.
Facilities are good, station exit and entrance is above level so you have to go up on footbridge.
Views are good, I much prefer the view on Platform 3, as you can see trains better from both views on line towards Woking which is long stretch track, and curve line towards London and tunnel in back ground. Also there is Weybridge - Waterloo service on bay Platform which is enjoyable filming it coming in and leaving.
Only issue I have with the Station that there are lots of College students, hanging around on Platform which can be bit off putting and difficult at times when you want to film trains. The quiet space there is at the very end of Platform 3, other then that it was still a good day.
Trains you will see lots of Desiro units 444, 450, lots of 455 ( including 868.) and some DMU 158 / 159, and 701 on testing. And bit of a surprise as well for you.

Could you do Walton-On-Thames since it's the station before Weybridge?
I could but I’m quite limited to where I can go, train fares cost lot of money and can’t afford to go everywhere. But I will do my best.
