Actually Ted, there are more games on the N64 that uses the D-Pad to move characters. WWF WrestleMania 2000, WWF No Mercy, WCW/nWo Revenge, and WCW vs nWo World Tour. There are more but those 4 wrestling games used the d-pad for moving characters and the analog-stick was to make them taunt.
