These ships seem awfully fragile
WHole capital ships going up to a quick strafe by a fighter is really weird.
Well, I imagine that since this war had been going on for centuries by this point
(with engagments with thousands of ships and millions of troops being considered "average.")
The Military Industrial Complex(s) of the Empire & Alliance had developed in such a way where Weapons are absurdly powerful, and Ships are mass-porduced to make up losses.
Plus, realistically, Spaceships in combat wouldn't fight like in Star Wars where it's basically WW2 but in Space. Extreme Distances are likely going to be the Norm
P.S: another show that does a good job making realistic space combat is The Expanse, i highly recommend it.
