Recently there’s been concerns and frustration with wearing makeup because of the need to wear masks.
So rather than using foundations or BB cream nowadays, I find myself using a lot of tone up cream that makes the skin look natural, clean and bright.

This is great content and really helps! I love that you recommended and tested a wide variety of products. I’ve been looking around for good sunscreens with tone-up this week. Such a coincidence that this video popped up the same week since I can’t find any videos on this topic before

Do NOT apply tone up cream before going to bed! it's as if applying suncream for bed. if you want a 'tone up cream effect' then use a skincare product with that effect but under any circumstance not a tone up cream!

Yeah I saw on a shopping app someone who left a bad review on a tone up cream because she put it on before sleeping and got horrible breakouts🤦♀️ I wish the app featured a reply function

@@Jesu_Stenger bc it’s redundant and it will just make your skin oily overnight lol. tone up cream is like a foundation and sunscreen 2in1 so it’s only rlly for day use

What a coincidence because I'm looking for UV tone up creams lately. I hope you review more of these and add a longevity factor (because some tone up creams seem to lose brightness after a while.) Great vid as always!!

I think the best combination would tone up cream,blurring primer and translucent powder in summer.

@@kimebina2586 There are sunscrens that are tone up and that's what I said. Sunscreen then primer because this person was asking about tone up sunscreens.
I’d like to add another tone-up cream with SPF, Goodal’s green tangerine vita C dark spot tone up cream SPF 50+ PA++++. I use it on my arms and hands as a sunscreen and to even out tone/minimize my sun spots. Overall, I like the high SPF and PA rating, but the tone-up effect is temporary. Also, it was quite pricey for the 1.69 fl.oz (50ml) size. Then again, I bought it online directly from South Korea.

Among of them, which is suitable for a bit brown skin tone?
Could you please do a video on best (No sebum) tone-up sunscreen for oily acne prone skin (with lotsa' pores)? Is Tony Moly Master No Sebum Sun Block a good choice? How about Dr G Brightening Up Sun? Currently, I'm using Innisfree No Sebum sunscreen, but it makes my complexion look ashy (maybe because it's a pinkish tone. The previous white version was better in my opinion.) I'm also using Etude House Sunprise Mild Airy Finish, but it doesn't provide any coverage. By the way, I don't wear makeup so I wish my sunscreen to cover up my blemishes and pores. Thanks
Honestly, if you want a sunscreen product that has coverage,
that’ll be actually really hard to find, because there’s almost no sunscreen that provide coverage.
As for the Tony Moly Master No Sebum Sun Block , it seems to be a good choice to use for you because it has a soft finish and takes care of oilyness, but since I haven’t tried that product I'm not totally sure about it.
And as for Dr G Brightening Up Sun.. are you talking about Plus? or Milk?
Anyway, both Dr G Brightening Up Sun Plus and Dr G Brightening Up Sun Milk doesn’t provide coverage.
Most sunscreens don’t provide coverage, and mostly only helps with tone up.
So if you want to cover your blemishes or acnes, I would recommend you to apply sunscreen product first and then apply base makeup products or concealers.

Well, the "coverage" I was/am concerned with, I actually meant "tone up". :) Tone-up sunscreen brightens up my face. I'm afraid I'm so green when it comes to makeup... But I'll try incorporating "base makeup products or concealers" or Tony Moly Master No Sebum Sunblock (if it's available in my country) as you suggested.
Please review more products that keep the corals out from the bleaching, like so natural products 💕💕💕 love the earth

I have oily skin and get breakouts, plus I live in a tropical country so it’s kinda summer everyday.
If you're asking about tone-up creams, I would recommend the one from Roundlab (it's not covered in this video), or Cell Fusion C toning sunscreen

They would work perfectly fine without foundation or BB cream if you like your skin to look bright,
as they work to give you a natural looking brighter look.
I think peripera pure is designed to be moisturizing so it might work

I've heard that it's better to use sunscreen first, then tone up cream. But this video stated otherwise, sooo am I supposed to apply sunscreen first, or tone up cream first?
If a tone up cream does not have spf, you should use sunscreen first, and then the tone up cream.
I also believe I mentioned that we should apply sunscreen first before applying on a tone up cream without SPF.
Maybe the wording I used was confusing??
@@JOOHKY no it wasn't :) however some people believe you shouldn't apply anything over sunscreen. I personally believe you should give it time to settle and then apply tone up cream, sp the film isn't disturbed. I hope this helps someone

Which of these do you recommend the most? Which has the most comfortable texture?
I would say Apieu's had a very nice comfortable texture.
As for recommendation, I would personally recommend Peripera's Milk Blur Tone Up Cream Pure, cause the finish is nice and moist, and feels light on the skin.
Did peripera repackage their tone up creams? Its got 3 different options (banana, pure & peach). Its called the blur pang series

Does concealer sit well on peripera milk blur (both pure and velvet) ?
I would say yes, but it would also depend on what concealer you are using.
I'd say Velvet would work well with light, matte concealers,
while Pure would probably work better with moist concealers.

Does the Blanc pool filter cream have spf or sun protection?
Unfortunately, they don't appear to have spf or sun protection, so you need to make sure to apply some on before applying it on.
So tone up means that it moisturizes and has a whitecast?
Whitecast, but not necessarily moisturizing.
Whether it is moisturizing or not will depend from product to product.
For example Peripera's Milk Blur Velvet Tone UP cream did not feel that moisturizing for me.
Then again, others may feel differently.
Which one gives most brightening effect?
I find PERIPERA’s MILK BLUR TONE-UP CREAM [ PURE ] to provide the brightest effect.

Primer should be applied before foundation, so it should be applied after tone up sunscreen.

It's hard to say, but Peripera's is said to have been made with no animal derivatives and is made with plant based components.

Kembly Bzk You have a point but different cultures have different mindset and even tho us Asian people prefer lighter skin doesn’t mean we don’t like people with darker skin
@@banksbox I understand that, but implying that lighter is cleaner also implies that darker is somehow "unclean or dirty". It just sounds wrong. People are free to use whatever they want on their faces, but vocabulary is very powerful and this sends a wrong message to young people.
I'm not sure about most people, but when I mention clear/clean, I actually mean a flawless texture,
which has nothing to do with being lighter or whiter.
I'll definitely work on improving the words so I don't cause future confushion.
