Volk should have known better he got hit with that kick in the first fight. Getting kicked while the opponent is the strongest early in a fight ~ ( duck and move away from power side) that rocked him and the blows after can’t believe he wasn’t knocked out glad they stopped it from further damage. 11 days ago Volk was on holidays, got the call accepted the fight and lost 12kg in 11days and without a fight camp, it was always going to end this way despite Volk clearly being the better fighter after their February fight, Dana should never allowed the fight to go ahead based on this

What an insane night of fights. NOT A SINGLE point deduction was crazy considering the sheer number of fouls. Some terrible ref decisions.
Hearing the commentary saying Walker seemed out of it, he ALWAYS seems out of it - he’s a weird dude! Then finding out he responded “the desert” is on par with what I’d expect out of his mouth. Should have at least given him 5, run it back

In my opinion, respect stands strong for Usman, Volk, Khamzat, Islam. They all showed their high level. They stepped up on short notice for very Important fights. Respect has to be applied here. +I loved Khamzat's post fight message

When DDP knocked out Whittaker and Adesanya hasnt decided what he plans on doing next. Usman is a beast but GSP is arguably the best welterweight of all time. He went through two generations of fighters. He avenged his two losses. He actually went up in weight, after a 3 .5 year layoff, and beat the 185 champ. Usman loss twice two Leon, and loss now at 185.🤷♂️
Both are legends. GSP is the better WW, but Usman isnt that far behind.

I’m disappointed as well, I don’t care about who won the fights but there was barely any competitiveness. Most fights were either a complete domination or boring to watch. I had high hopes for the Usman and Khamzat fight especially but the whole thing felt a little anticlimactic.

I have so many things to say about Main event and Co Main event. First, I really hope Usman next fight is at middleweight. So many good fights for him. How about Usman vs Vettori or Costa.
Second, it seems like Khamzat will fight Sean for title. I am sure Khamzat training hard, but not sure if he can go five rounds. Again round three Khamzat was gassed. In my opinion if the Burns fight was five rounds Khamzat would have lost.
Third, all credit to Volk. I would love for Volk to say at 155. He can go take care of business in January and move up to 155 if he wins.
Last for Islam next fight should be vs Gaethje unless he wants to fight at 170. I have no issues with Oliveira, but since he lost the title he beat Dariush. Gaethje beat Poirier and Fiziev. Two is more than one. Charles should fight Gamrot at the same card and winner gets title shot.
One more point. Dustin should fight Beneil next, but for some reason Dustin doesn't wanted that fight. It should be Arman vs Bobby Green.
If Khamzat and Burns would’ve went two more rounds after the three rounds they’ve fought, it’s obvious that Burns would lose even worse. Burns was looking destroyed after the three rounds, his face was all covered in blood and he started to slow down. And I’m not saying that Khamzat absolutely destroyed Burns. Khamzat also took a lot of damage. It was a war. Both fighters performed great. But Chimaev was still the better fighter that day. And he would’ve also won if that fight went to 5 rounds.

Khamzat is overhyped and this fight shows it. He outwrestle Usman but didnt finish, he gassed and did nothing in stand up.
Usman lower division, on short notice, coming from b2b loses and Khamzat couldnt finish, he was even anywhere close of finishing Usman.
1st round : 10-9 - or 10-8 depends how u see it, i saw no damage done so 10-9
2nd round : 9-10 - for Usman
3rd round : 9-9
From 2 nd round it started leaning towards Usman, Khamzat couldnt secure a takedown and had zero offensive striking. And he was on full camp, it was Usman that suppose to be gassed not Khamzat. He is not champ material. No yet
so yea, he is legit but overhyped and that Dana privilage. They feed him Holland, Burns was also suppose to be pray but lol, they tried ot feed him Usman but he also couldnt finish.

Why did The UFC Cut Audio where Islam Said He won’t be celebrating his win because of the war & his message about peace ? I love what Khamzat said, Just live & Let Us Live, Let Us Be Happy! The world needs to hear that message over a fighter saying how great I am because they stepped in on short notice.

Amazing performance by Islam even tho I was fully rooting for Alex! However, overall the card was pretty mid, 4/10 at best. Pretty disappointing for us, the European crowd who was looking forward to it. Especially the prelims were a massive letdown.
Hope they end the year strong with the next 2 cards.
